We do not have to stay stationed in a particular situation longer than the Father has for us once he has done all that he needs to do with it. Many of the members of the Body of Christ believes that God will just move us on when the time comes for us to move on. I can imagine what Jesus was thinking sitting there at the right hand of Glory just rooting for his not so long left apostles to get up on out of Jerusalem after they had been endowed with power as promised. It did get to a point where the Jerusalem nest had to be stirred out, or who knows how much longer AD, that many of the apostles may have hung around in the situation in which they knew so well. In one of many articles easily to be found, “The Word,” a Divine Word Missionary Publication for one, had written in June 2005 that most of the apostles remained in Jerusalem until about AD 42. This might have been surprising at that time with all of the danger still at a very high level for the followers of Jesus; as well as the great commission given to them by Jesus to take the “good news” to the world. However, it is not surprising behavior for any of us today to remain in a situation pass the time needed, for it is just the natural thing to do. I have seen it done regularly because of the safe spot that we find within the situation after working in it for a while. I have even entered into a situation in which I wasn’t fully convinced, and confident that it was the Will of God; and I went forth believing that God would closed the door if it wasn’t his Will for me. Nah, the lesson I learned from that is if you have any doubt about a situation being the Will of God; then don’t move on it until you have no doubt. Now God will shut doors for you as he is the best wing man to ever exist; however, if you have direct line of sight, then you need to make the right call if it’s in your power to so in order to stay out of that unauthorized situation. The apostles knew without a doubt that they were authorized to get on up out of that Jerusalem situation after they were endued with power from on high. We can also empathized with the apostles as there were so many doable reasons for them to hang around there, and just help the people out for a lil while longer. Yep, that is how it gets all of us to stay in those situations that are over, for there are so many doable reasons for us to stay there for a lil while longer. Mount Up, And Father To Your Next Situation or Season.
It is good to want to make sure that we finish up a situation, or season so that we don’t have to go through it again if at all possible. The thing that we want to avoid is finding false security in a place in which we need to leave; thereby, we end up having to receive a wake up call from heaven that it is time to move the operation along. These situation stops are more like rest areas on a long ride, we need them to carry on; but we don’t want to stay at them any longer than we must. The minute that we get what we need to carry on, then we want to get back on the road in order to drive on ahead toward the destination. The apostles needed the situation to keep them in Jerusalem to be endued with power, for that was not only a good thing needed for them to carry on; but it was a necessary thing needed for them to carry on in the Word that Jesus had given them to do. They were all still relatively new to operating this venture called the kingdom of Heaven being at hand, Church division; and they were now learning on the fly with the Head of the Church no longer around in physical form. It’s the same for us today, we still learn many things on the fly; but we must keep flying to keep learning more. And yes, the Head of the Church is still not around in physical form for us today, but we now are learning on the fly how to better operate in the Word with him being around in Spiritual form. The original apostles along with his early disciples did get to walk by sight with Jesus, as he showed them how to walk by faith. They did not have to do all the things that one would have to do when walking with one of whom one can not see; therefore, they saw what Jesus in physical form would do in a situation. Now they can step forward in their physical form, endued with spiritual power; and fill in the unseen blank. In order for you and I to move out of situations or seasons in which Father is waiting for us to drive ahead toward the destination, we need to have seen on the fly over time what the spirit of God is doing; and step forward in our physical form, endued with spiritual power; and fill in the unseen blank. If we have not seen by sight what the Lord has been doing by faith in spiritual form in situations in our lives; then we will not see the movement on faith substances as the unseen Spirit is moving to get our attention so we can step in and fill in the blank. When God is finished with a situation, and ready to move on toward the destination; he will move on faith substance to alert us to start, or to join in with him as he moves forward into the next situation or season. It’s like the invisible man on the tv show: we know he is there only when he moves an item, or dress in something like a sheet. We can’t see God for he is Spirit; however, we can see by sight the things that he moves by our faith. We definitely walk by faith and not by sight, but when we see the substance of things hoped for being moved on by the Spirit; then we want to mount up and dress up that movement with our body. Whenever you see by sight substances enter or be moved into your space; you have to know that you are seeing faith to walk by, and to get on with it. Many times we wait way to long to move; and we should have learned by now when faith is telling us to walk, in seeing what he has done in our situation. Hey, we’ve all done this at times with our best friend, especially back in high school, and college days. My best friend and I in college could put a strategy into play right in the midst of a situation. We could do this right in front of the people without saying a word, simply because we knew each other; and we had learned each other at that level by building a relationship. The Lord have been to many of us as Jesus said to Phillip in John 14:9: “Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?” Of course we can’t physically see the Lord, but we shouldn’t have to see the Lord physically to know when he is moving if we have been building a relationship with him so long time. We will know that he is moving because we have seen him move by faith: as we see the substance of what we hoped for moving, we must know to go move with it. We walk by faith and not by sight; and faith is the substance of things hoped for. When you see your HOPE, let Father see your MOVE. Mount Up, And Father On To Your Next Situation Or Season.
