When we ask the question, what can Father Do For You now; we are really asking what have you not let go, and not let God do for you lately? Once we get to the place where we need Father to do for us now, we can safely draw, or rely on without knowing for sure, a conclusion from two or three reasons. The reason that would take the pole position, or be the fastest reason to occur first, is the one I just asked in the form of a question in the opening sentence of this paragraph. The Father is always going to be there for us to have our needs met, and He is going to be on the job before we need it now, because he knows already what time it is about to be. So I can draw to a conclusion from knowing the way in which God does the things He does. He is first and foremost going to be on time to do whatever He can do for you, and in the same breath, He is going to always do these things decently and in order, no matter how rushed you may have allowed yourself to become. Therefore, with me knowing all of that for sure, I can then draw to a conclusion that God was not allowed by you to do what He wanted to do when He wanted to do it, because you would not let go and let God; and that is the pole position reason why the Father is needed by you to do something now, as oppose to doing it on time as He would naturally prefer being a spirit. Now another reason for needing Father now, has nothing to do with whether or not either one, you or God, are on time. I call this reason being stuck in the Word, and you can’t get out, except by the Father; for only the Father can change the Word of God sent forth: Deuteronomy 4:2, “Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.” This commandment is all through out the Bible from the old testament, new testament, and revelation for you to read up on: revelation 22:18- 19, Proverbs 30:5-6, and Matthew 24:35 are among my favorite scriptures to study. A great example of a person being stuck in the Word, and needing the Father to do for him now would be Hezekiah. Can you imagine being stuck in the Word that came from God saying it’s time for you to die, and it being through the proper channels of the prophet, with him having no power to add or diminish from the Word? The prophet can’t change the Word, and the Word can’t change itself. Hezekiah had to go beyond the Word, and the Power to have the Word change. He had to go the Father of the Word now, to get it changed, and he received fifteen more years.

One more reason for which Father can do for you now that I want to mention today is when you find yourself at the end of the Word, or at full faith in the Word given, and there is no where else to go. This is a case in which we can need the Father now. The Children of Israel followed the Word all the way to the sea. Since the Word took then there with no place to go, then the Father will have to come now. We can look up and find ourselves in a place that the Word took us with no place to go. The Word will not, and can not change itself. So when we are brought to the brook, and the supplies run out, just know that since His Word brought you to this place, Father will have to get you out of this place. He will be looking to feel the heat from your trust in Him in which the pedal should be down to the spiritual metal. When you are in a place where you need Father now, you do not want to placing your trust in anything else. The thing that makes your trusting so great is because it really is based on what you know about your God, and not about what you can see. What Can Father Do For You Now? This is an answer in which Father does not get uncomfortable in His own skin as He awaits your move as He watches it all play out. I have heard it said, and this is from a very reliable resource that has been named the best-selling book of all time, that the Father let His only begotten Son suffer and die on the cross. I know, I know; you and I could never do such a thing with our only son or even with one of our twelve sons. You see why we can trust Him to do what He says He will do? Father doesn’t play. If you are ever going to put it all on the line, Father is a once in an eternal existence, where you have the winning hand. Jesus has already defeated everything that could possibly be a bump in the road on its best day. So let’s walk in the Word decently and in order; you know, walk the Word out through each of the Godhead members: Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. And by doing this we will stay on track with the Will of God, and keep most things running on time. This will allow us to avoid needing to ask the question on a regular basis, “What Can Father Do For You Now?”
