We do not even get close to the comforts of the Father without having our focus on him, in the form of his Will. The comforts of the Father are not a given to us without our focus being on him; even though, the Father’s comforts were given to us as joint heirs with Christ. When it comes to focusing on the Father, there is not much room for debate; for we will focus on him or we will not receive the comforts in which we seek. We know that without faith, it is impossible to please the Father: Hebrews 11:6, “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” The only way to diligently seek him to be rewarded the comforts that we seek from his is by focusing on him. The Kingdom of God has been in the business of man seeking the comforts of the Father for a very long time. It’s been every since the beginning of creation when man turned around, and gave all the comforts back to the Father that had been given to man in the garden through disobedience. So, after the man (male man & female man) disobeyed God to eat of the wrong fruit, dress in the wrong clothes, hide wrongly from the right seeker of him, and get evicted from the garden palace; yes, I say that this was the beginning of it: The Father’s Comforts Commands Our Focus.
The Kingdom of Heaven being sent to earth was the game changer for man to where the comforts of God lost to man way back in the garden and more, were now at hand for man again. We all know the scripture of how God so loved the world to put us back into position to receive all the comforts of God: John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” The fascinating thing along with God sending his Son to save us, and to restore us to the place lost; is that it also pleased the Father that we be given access to the fulness of God in a way in which we never had before. Colossians 1:19, “For it pleased the Father that in him (Jesus) should all fulness dwell. This made it to where once we are saved in Christ where all fulness dwell; thereby, as members of his Body, we will have access to the fulness of his power needed to have the comforts of God at hand. Colossians 2:9-10, “For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:” We are the body, and the fulness will dwell through the Godhead bodily. This pleased the Father as we have read above in Colossians 1:19. Jesus lets us know that his reason for coming is directly related to us having access to the fulness of God: John 10:10, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” In order for us to have life more abundantly, we will need to have access to the fulness of God, at hand. The Father’s Comforts Commands Our Focus.
Now as each member looks to access the fulness of God to have life more abundantly, this is where the diligently seeking the Father begins. Everything that has anything to do with the Father, will have to start it with the Son: John 14:6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” This coming to Jesus in order to come unto the Father is talking not only about eternal life; but, it is also talking about having life more abundantly here on earth as well. When we come to Jesus first for the comforts of the Father, or for life more abundantly, we then begin our walk of diligently seeking the Father. When we look at how it pleased the Father to give the fulness of God to Jesus, we have to remember that Jesus is the head, and that he has a body, the Church. Therefore, the Church will dwell in the fulness of God as directed by the Father in Colossians 2:9, 9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.” The Godhead is made up of God: the Word, made Jesus; the Power, the Holy Ghost, and the Will, Father; and we must diligently walk in the Godhead to dwell in the fulness as we need it. This is another love act on the part of the Father, because we has humans would not be able to bear the fulness of God unless we bear it on a need to bear basis. This is where our diligence in seeking the Father begins, and we always begin our seeking by the Word first. The three members of the Godhead are really all comforters to us as we go from one to the next fulfill the thing hope for with the power that we need at the time. For example, if I follow the Word to leave Egypt, and that Word leads me to the Red Sea with an army on my tail; now I am going to need more of God for the next phase. I will now need to know what the plans are, or what the Will is for me to do with all of these people about to be stuck between a rock(the sea) and a hard place(pharaoh’s army). I am going to need to know the Will of the Father for this moment. When my request to the know the Will returns to me by the Word to cross over the Sea, I am going to need more of God for the next phase. I will need to have Power in order to cross the Sea; therefore, I will need to have, or someone will need to have received the Power gifts from the Godhead with the Power, the Holy Ghost. In order for me to cross the Red Sea with all these people with an army after us, I will need the gifts of working of miracles, power faith, and whatever else needs to be revealed. I will need a word of knowledge in order to know the places that is dangerous to enter into the Sea. So this gives us an idea of the diligence required to walk in and out of the members of the Godhead as we need a member in order to bear the fulness of God. Now happy seeking as you bear the fulness of God. The Father’s Comforts Commands Our Focus.
