Here I go again, back to the children of Israel during their Exodus from Egypt. Their whole journey has always been an inspiration to me of a people who never gives up, as well as a treasure chest of all things to be learned when it comes to dealing with God. The one thing that always captivates me is the possibility that they had to enter into the promised land in less than a two week journey (knowing pains), but ended up having to take the scenic route into the promised land in the time period of around two thousand and eighty weeks, or a forty years journey (growing pains). I do believe that they saw more sites, and more views than they cared to remember. Then I thought about all the resources, and lives lost along the way because of them not knowing God; as well as all the time taken that could no longer be redeemed because they were in the red from the start. I don’t know what God was really willing at the moment when He decided to take neophyte, non-battle faith tested believers, across one of the most challenging paths available into the promised land. Then it hit me, God is a Spirit, and he’s going to do what a one of a kind Spirit will do: He’s going to take his dancing partner and head toward the floor doing his best moves until he is asked by his partner’s faith (knowing pains) or by his partner’s fear (growing pains) to keep going or to make adjustments. And we all know how it went with God, and his new dancing partners, the children of Israel. It was time to make the adjustment, and turn away from God’s best move as the water broke to begin their growing pains.
Yeah, I think about us today as members of the Body of Christ, and how we are the dancing partner with the Father when he heads toward the floor about to bust his best move. And we have it much better than the pioneers of faith had it back then, which is the case for those being pioneers. You see today, if Father wanted to cross over into a very challenging situation, and it was a member of the Body of Christ still experiencing growing pains in the area, as the Father made his best move toward the floor, that member candidate for the job may decide not to dance. That member of the Body of Christ today may add more “Word” to the thing hoped for to buy more time, and not dance forward with the Father into the faith activity created from the existing “Word” that the member had been believing God to bring to pass. The children of Israel didn’t have all that going for them as they were put on the spot. Yeah, they wanted to head back to the old worldly ways in Egypt as fear had them to believe would be better, but they were now out on the limb with the God, I AM, and he doesn’t play around like that. In the Body of Christ, members can delay and prolong (growing pains) their move to the dance floor with the Father because of the protection afforded us by Christ Jesus as an advocate for us before the Father. However, those members that know the Father as a son (knowing pains), can take his hand, and he will lead you into his best move. Both the growing pain moves as well as the knowing pains moves will get you there, but the growing pain moves does not leave you extra time to redeem times from any of your other growing pains moves from the pass. We deal today with the God, I AM, the difference is that He is now a Father, and his Son helps run the family business. There are many benefits put in place by the Son to allow the members of his Body all the opportunities necessary to be beyond having the growing pains function as the primary move, and to having the knowing pains function as the primary move because it saves so much of everything in our lives with time left to redeem. John 4:23, “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.” Although the Father is currently seeking such to worship him who seek to experience him in the knowing pains function, don’t worry; you can’t just be made to function away from the safety net of the Body’s “Word” foundation to go dance with the Father on his foundation of spirit and truth. It is part of the benefits of the body for your protection that Jesus approves all such promotions first: John 14:6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
So stay calm, Jesus will give you all the time you require to finish your growing pains function, and to believe that you are ready to take Father’s hand, and dance with him in his knowing pains function of in Spirt and in truth as it shed forth from the “Word” foundation.
However, tick tock!
Father Still Does Love To Do The Body Good.
