The members of the Body of Christ are heirs of God according to scripture: Romans 8:17, “And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.” I don’t believe that most members of the Body of Christ actually know what that means, heirs of God. If they really knew what that meant, they would only live beneath their rights for as long as it took to process the heir appointment made to them of Father. It’s already been recorded, and signed in blood to where it is undisputable. It’s almost like just finding out that there is a bank account left to you in your name with a million dollars in it, as you are on your way to another night of living in a shelter for the homeless. I know that you have been thankful to God for a place to sleep, but now it’s time to go and be thankful to God for now having life more abundantly. The number of nights that you live in the shelter from this point on should only be determined by the time required for you to get to the attorney, or individual who can give you the information needed for you to access your bank account. Many of us are still living in the shelters of finance, health, relationships, professions, and on and on because we don’t know that we have loaded accounts waiting to replace whatever shelter that we may find ourselves occupying for the time being. The operative words here are “for the time being,” for we have no need to prolong being in the shelters of life when we are heirs of God. We can also read in the recordings of scripture concerning a heir of God: Hebrews 1:2, “Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;” So if I understand this correctly, if His Son Jesus hath been appointed heir of all things, and all that be children are joint-heirs with his Son, then that will make us also be appointed heir of all things. Nah, that can’t be what that means, for I see so many children of God living in all of the shelters of life for a prolong period of time. Who would live in many shelters of life for a prolong period of time if they were co-heirs of all things with Christ?
Okay okay, let’s look at this again, for if the scripture says that the children are joint-heirs with Christ, who is appointed heir of all things, then the children are indeed joint-heirs with Christ. Then it hit me. I was knocked out of my seat for being so slow on this one. I know that many of you got it long ago, the joint-heir thing? Well let me tell you, it’s been right there in front of slow Moe all of this time. We maybe all joint-heirs with Christ, and this alone will make all life shelters work together for good to then that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose according to Romans 8:28. However, being a joint-heir, does not mean that you are an equally receiving heir; but it does mean that you were given the right to be a heir to receive that in which the person who owned it wanted to give to you. Everyone that is a heir, is a heir to the right to receive which was appointed specifically to each heir, and not necessarily the right to an equal sharing of all things. Jesus was appointed heir of all things: again Hebrews 1:2, “Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;” You and I were not appointed heir of all things, that by us were made the worlds. We had no heir rights to do that. One might ask how was it that Jesus heir right allowed Him to make the worlds, when He had not been made flesh yet? Jesus did not just begin when He was made flesh to come dwell amongst us, and die on the cross. Jesus was here at the beginning before the world was as the Word in the bosom of the Father: John 17:5, “And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.” There is no time constraints with Father as we know time to be: 2 Peter 3:8, “But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.”
The appointment of Jesus as heir also came along with specifics to his life on earth amongst us, just as our lives have come with specific appointments, and callings while here on earth. I love the clarity and specificity of Jesus appointment in ministry: Luke 4:18, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised.” Since Jesus hath been appointed heir of all things, He knows His limitations: NONE. When it comes to you and I, we have limitations, but we have been appointed heir of some things. We even have a specific gift that will make room for us, but we are not heirs of all gifts for them to make room for us. The scripture says that a man’s gift: Proverbs 18:16, “A man’s gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.” The gifts, the anointing, and the calling in which the Father have appointed to us, is how we not just have life, but they are the and to us having life more abundantly. Let’s go learn and know what we have been appointed heirs of, and let’s stop living beneath our right. It’s been time for all the children to vacate the many shelters of our lives, and become the heirs in which we were appointed to be. It Is Our Right. All Things Work Good For Heirs, But Appointed Things Of Father Work Better For Heirs.
The Father Still Does Love To Do The Body Good.
