I have seen where a child of God was raised out of some challenges by the Father after having a long faith fight, but not yet being loose from the bondages of their own ways kept them from being free to live. Yon can also be given life by the Father, and remain in bondages not of your own faith. You may have to be freed from some things of others by the help of others. We can even see this when Jesus raises Lazarus back to life, but Lazarus would need the help of others to loose him from the faith of others, and let him go. John 11:44, “And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go. Here Lazarus was bound by the faith and actions of others; of course, if he is presumed to bed dead in the natural with no one of faith pushing to hold off his burial, then the faith, and actions of others will do what the others know and believe to do at this time. I don’t know if the family had any power to delay Lazarus burial after three days of being dead, since by Judaic law the spirit is considered to have left the body after three days with no hope of resurrection. We know that Jesus was well familiar with the law, and that is why he waited on the three days to pass so that the people would know that he was the messiah after he raises one who by their law cannot be raised on the fourth day. You know, we as members of the Body of Christ have to begin to distinguish between the natural ways, and the spiritual ways if we are to take full advantage of both ways. Jesus had no intent on allowing the law that the people knew at that time, have any power over what he needed to do to make sure the people knew who they had in their midst. When you find your self in a bind contrary to the laws of the world: natural, medical, economic, religious, or whatever the law maybe; you may want to first have a little talk with Jesus to see what plans he and the Father may have in mind. It just maybe that they were waiting for this opportunity to use you to show the world the power of your God; however, if you just presume that the present outcome is the final outcome, you will miss out by allowing faith, yours or anyone else’s, keep you hostage to the present outcome.
The members of the Body of Christ, just like with Lazarus, we will always be subject to the faith of those who are governed by the laws of this world. Mary and Martha really had no recourse available to them once Lazarus had been dead over three days. The problem for us is not the laws of this land, but our problem is believing that the laws of this land is the final word. Once we believe that the laws of this land is the final word, then we let that faith keep us hostage. Jesus could have gotten to Lazarus before the third day if it was the Will of the Father, but the Father did not want Jesus to operate within the parameters of the law in which all the people already believed in. No, Jesus was out to prove his point, and he was going to take away their point to do it: here we have the Son of God running through the point of man to have his point made for all to believe. You have to let the Will of the Father take you pass the current faith, yours as well as that of others, so that you will not be held hostage. Let’s say that your faith level is good, but for this next thing that you will face, you will need your faith level to be greater. There is but one way to have your faith level greater, and that is to take on a greater Will of the Father. If you are at your max level, you’ll need his Will at a greater level: the Word that brings you that Will, the faith for that level Will come by hearing, and hearing by the Word that comes to bring the Will. We need to stop trying to go through through the point made by the world with the same level of faith in which we live out that point everyday. If I am going to go beyond what I have been living in agreement with everyday, I am going to need more than I already have to prove the new point. If I have believed all my life that I need good credit with the faith that I have, and then if all of the sudden I don’t have good enough credit anymore, I am not going to be able to get pass that point with the same faith in which I always believed in because I am now up against myself: my faith is hostage to itself. Now what am I going to do, I going to go to the Father and get his Will, to get the Word, to bring me greater faith to push through it. This is why we do not break through our walls because we can’t break through that in which we believe: it keeps us hostage. So know that the world does have a word, but know that the Father will have the Final Word, and breakout of that hostage situation.
The Father Still Does Love To Do The Body Good.
