We can to no surprise hear these words, “we have a new weather front moving in soon,” in most weather forecast when a new air mass of different characteristics is on the horizon. And as you all have seen shown on the air many times by all meteorologist, their best friend may indeed be the weather radar, aka, Doppler weather radar, used to detect and locate precipitation; yeah, I would call that a best friend to have as a meteorologist. We can now know way in advance of most severe fronts heading our way in order to take necessary precautions to stay as safe as possible. However, if you are out camping, and detect a change in the air, is it radar, or is it your old school senses of weather detecting skills sending off an alert of incoming? I was reading from the best-selling book of all time a passage from a talk given by the best meteorologist as well as the best discerner of the times of all time, on detecting the weather, and discerning the times. Let me read a little of it to you: Luke 12:54-56, “And he(Jesus) said also to the people, When ye see a cloud rise out of the west, straightway ye say, There cometh a shower; and so it is. 55) And when ye see the south wind blow, ye say, There will be heat; and it cometh to pass. 56) Ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time?”

Wow, wait a minute, forget about the weather for now: we have many capable meteorologist keeping us more than up to date of what’s coming in, and I thank them. Now to hear from the best discerner in bodily form of all time as He goes on record in the best selling book of all time, and question the people on how they can detect/discern the weather on point, but they can not discern “this time.” It came to me to ask the same question to us, but in a more Doppler way. Here is the question: Have You Discern The Father’s Front Moving Into Your Area Yet? Jesus would not be asking such a question if we shouldn’t be already doing it in our day to day lives. He even highlights our ability to detect/discern weather on point to our not discerning this time or incoming front: the two may appear to be in contrast, but Jesus is fully aware of the ability to some degree, because some discerning is involved in detecting. In other words, we can do it, but we need to become gifted at it. Jesus did use the word discern with the weather as he did when talking about discerning this time, because if your level to discern is lower, you would be able to discern a lesser one, but not the greater one: as with how through grace God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith vs how power faith for the greater is gifted, and at times given to those as the Holy Ghost wills. We all have a measure of faith for standard living, but there is a whole other level of power faith needed to raise the dead along with the gift of healings, etc. And we are not to just let the “words” of God go lightly, but to know that they contain this time, the front that is before us. And we as members of the Body of Christ should already know that the Father does not waste his words, nor is it his intent for them to return unto him void. No, we should know that with the Father, the intent for His “word” sent forth is that it be made flesh, or made into natural substance for our use according to the things hoped for.

Jesus warns in scripture that fronts will come, and the need to be ready for them to come at any time; especially when you least expect them. Luke 12:37-40, “Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them. 38) And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants. 39) And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through. 40) Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.” So, the front, or this time that comes, will move in, and it will be moving in where the current air mass is different: the have not air mass vs the come to have air mass with only a thin border between the two.

So let’s make tomorrow’s post about how to discern the incoming front. We should be able to know when it comes in, and be ready to roll with it.
