It is not good to be too close to the edge near trouble when there is no call to be there. I know that it is just human nature to check things out that are going on around us; but when it comes to the trying of spiritual things by that which is natural, it’s better to not hang or teeter around natural trouble once it has identified itself. When we realize that smoke is nearby, then we have to know that fire is not far off. We are not required to stay there, or stand there on guard to make sure it is known that we have a good heart. It does not matter that we have no plans or even thoughts about participating in what is to be offered up; however, if we remain close to the trouble that is coming, it will find a way to grab us, and to pull us into it. Many times when the devil is coming to start some mess, he has not yet selected the one who will chair the mess; and this leaves everyone in dark not knowing that something is being plotted. The devil will have already identified the target in which he wants to go after, but he may spend sometime in the midst of those present to determine which person will be the better, weak one to choose to be his chair-person in order to go after the targeted one. So the moment that you hear the trouble show itself, do not care for it, and do not entertain it; but get away from it immediately. Teetering On The Edge Is Playing With Fire.

One might ask why would a son or a daughter of Father teeter on the edge near danger or trouble in the first place? The answer is the same one that has been working against the children of God since for ever; and it still works today because of who we are in our spiritual nature: we are to show the love of God to everyone. The easy name to the answer would be called deception; however, the devil doesn’t have to deceive us most of the time, especially when members are new to the body of Christ. If I am new to the body of Christ, I will be in the state of trying my best to walk up right, renew my mind, and just treat everybody right by default as I began this grand new journey in Christ. When a child of God has not been battle tested, and mature enough to identify some of the ways in which the devil may send forth at us; then all the enemy has to do is select an unaware chair-person from our midst. This person may not even be like a Judas; but may be a sincere person having a bad day, and in need of an ear. There will be no need for deception on the part of the devil, because the person is already in our midst, and we will by default give an ear to hear in order to show the love of God. The enemy knows that he can count on us to always show attention to give the love of God. This allows the enemy the opportunity, without deception, to make it known to the babe, or to a vulnerable long time member in the Lord, as we would be willing to give an ear to one that’s already in our midst. And it’s ok to give an ear to one in our midst of whom we are unaware of the plans that the enemy may bring to them; and that person may also still be unaware of the wiles of the enemy to come forth. The thing to remember about teetering near trouble is this. Once you are aware, for it has to be made known eventually, do not get caught being nice as to not hurt any feelings: once you are aware, then put an end to it immediately or you may find yourself close enough to get pulled into something that you were not trying to get into. We have to be obedient, but we don’t have to hang around trouble in order to show that we are nice. Teetering On The Edge Is Playing With Fire.
