Whew, I am tired before I get started here, for there is a whole lot of THE’S going on in that title. The title reminds me of a basketball team where the coach runs the offense thru the head of the team: you take your head player, and get the ball in that player’s hand; and then let that player make the decision on the best way to get the ball in the hoop as the play unfolds. You see, that’s the beauty of running the offense thru the head, the head is so talented, there will be options opening up only as the head player unfolds the play. Once the head player has the ball in hand, then the defense, bless it’s heart, will then have to react to the head player options: pull up, kick it out, drive in, pick and roll, pick and don’t roll, or reset it if need be. Yeah, that should have gotten us all excited as we think about the options made available as our head of the Church, our team, begins to unfold all the options opening up to him as he, the head, unfolds the play. We know that our main person in basketball, whoever that maybe or may have been: MJ, D Wade, Diana Taurasi, Steph C, Larry Legend, Lisa Leslie, Magic Man, and on and on the talent goes on; all have come up with some unbelievable options to take their team to the highest heights. My excitement concerning the head of my life team, and the Church, is that he (Jesus) has also been winning for so long. Jesus always has options made available for us to escape defeat, and win at the thing in which we hope for. There’s just nothing or no one in creation in any form like we’ve ever known before, or will ever know in the future; and he has given the world the only option possible for us to have the victory of eternal life. The Father Runs The Will Thru The Head Of The Body.

Let’s look at how the Father runs the Will thru the head of the body so that we will be a more efficient team player with the head of our team as Jesus leads us to the thing that we hope for. And we can learn this one thing from the basketball side of things; and that is the high heights achieved happened because the head players had other great players on the team helping to make the offense run at a high efficient championship level. It is the same for the members of the body of Christ team as it is for the members of the great basketball teams; and that is no person is an island entire of itself: we all need great support from every team member in some form or fashion in order to pull off the big victory. Now the Father will run a tight ship when it comes to bringing to pass the thing hoped for according to his Will. The Father will not play around with his Will, and he will expect us to run the Will through Jesus, the head of the team or body if you will. We do not want to have a need or a want, and not run it through Jesus. If we do not run the things hope for through Jesus, then we will not get to the time and the season of the thing that is held in the Father’s own power. This is really the main reason in which much of what the majority of the members hoped for, remain in the unseen world. The members of the body have faith for the most part; but the problem is that they run out of viable options in which only the head player will have as the play unfolds. John 14:6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” Jesus is the only one that has all the options that will be needed to come unto the Father, or to come to the Father’s Will for the thing that we hoped for. So start the game or the faith operation off right by running the offense; or the Will through the head player, or Jesus. The Father Runs The Will Thru The Head Of The Body.

How do we do this consistently since Jesus is not standing at the top of the key for me to pass it to? Ah ah, well, you always get the Will of the Father to run thru the head by making your request be known to the Father. Now Jesus will not be standing at the top the key; however, he will be standing in the answer in which the Father sends back to you, written or revealed. Jesus was the Word made flesh; and what did Jesus give us as he ascended upon high to be at the right hand of Glory? Jesus gave us all of the Word gifts from the five-fold ministry unto the administration offices because Jesus is still the Word in the Godhead. When we get our answer back from the Father after having made our request made known unto him, the Father then sends forth to us his answer or his Will through his Word: not only do we have Jesus standing at the top of our key, but we have the Word of all options to unfold as we walk it out empowered by Jesus. So we run the offense through Jesus empowering the Word with life from himself to work out all the options needed for the victory. We forget that when God first said, “let there be light,” God was not talking to mankind, but he was sending forth the Word with a life of his own to let there be the light, not to announce the light. There was no body there to say it to, but the Word was sent forth to make it be with the Spirit of God. This is why the Word can run options for you until you have what you hoped for because the Word is the Will manifested. When you and I receive the Word from our request, that Word has faith with it so that we can go move with that Word to become what we hoped for. We are not just suppose to hear the Word and that be it; no, but we are suppose to hear the Word to receive the faith that came with it to go get busy bringing to pass that which we hoped for. John 1:1-3, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. ² The same was in the beginning with God. ³ All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.” The Father Runs The Will Thru The Head Of The Body.
