On the way up has always been the introducing catalyst to the reason why so many continue to enter into on the way down. What is the one thing that comes with “on the way up” that never changes, but it always seems to change mostly all else: people, places, and things? It doesn’t take much of “on the way up” to bring opportunity of change as long as that one thing is present to some degree for the one “on the way up,” and that is power. The thing about power is that it can come in so many ways to deliver the same opportunity to effect change. Now change is not a bad thing if the change made is not a bad thing, for we need change; however we need the change to stay in line with the make up of the person from which the power was granted. If a person showed to be one way to get the power “on the way up,” it is not expected for the person to show an all out new make up now that the power has been obtained. We can see this opportunity of power to effect change, good or bad, at every level of life. Nevertheless, the one thing that every level of power must answer, and show on the way up is the same: We’ll Show, Who We’ll Serve, On The Way Up.
This is a very important subject matter to God which could explain to some degree why he continues to handle our inheritance as co-heirs for the most part as one would handle a trust fund: you know, it will be distributed to us later on as we reach whatever it is that God needs each of us to reach. We don’t want to get needs supplied confused with power supplied in which we may not need. It is all the co-heir power of God that is in trust, for we can always have our needs met wherever we have reached, whenever we have a need. The main reason why God just doesn’t supply our power needs with out the trust can be summed up in the one scripture: Matthew 6:24, “No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.” When man is given power beyond the needs, and even beyond abundant living, there will always come, invited or uninvited, opportunities and temptations to where we’ll have to show, who we’ll serve. And God has on many occasions been let down by those on the way up who decided to change their make up once they had come into power. The many members of the Body of Christ who should have the power to have all the needs met unto abundant living, are yet some of the people with the most needs to be met. The members of the body of Christ, because of Jesus’ victory over death, are always on the way up by default; however, because many members do not stay true to God ways to be on the way up to experience more power, we appear to most to always be on the way down as a whole. The question is will we or I stay true to God “on the way up” into power, or will we or I be taken away by power to serve an opportunity or temptation that is not in accordance with the Will of God? If we prove to stay true to God in the process to move “on the way up,” he will give us more power to move beyond that of the world with our own opportunities and miracles in which the world can’t handle. When we meet God during the process to move “on the way up,” we must show him at that time who we will serve. When we show him that we will serve him with all we currently have, then he will give us the chance to show him how far we can go serving him with more power than we have as we continue “on the way up.” We’ll Show, Who We’ll Serve, On The Way Up.
