When does the Father know that we have run the route correctly, and that we will be there to receive what he has for us? The answer is NOW: the Father will not know if we will arrive on time until the moment that we arrive on time. The Father will not just assume that our faith action or our faith activity will happen; or that we will be at the appointed place on time regardless, to keep from leaving him hanging. We were always taught even as sales executives what happens when we assume that the work of making the sale is done, and we prematurely close on the table when the table is not yet ready to be closed. Now there is a close in sales named, “assume the sale,” in which the sales executive can proceed with once the work of the sale is first done: after stating the current situation; hearing and pointing out the problems because of the current situation; then stressing the implications robbing the customer of valuable time, money, and quality of service lacking; then leading to a short summary in agreement of what the customer needs payoff should be. And only after all of this work of the sale is done will we know what product features will be of benefit to replace what the customer currently has: NOW, the sales executive may hear enough buying signs to where the “assume the sale” close may be attempted. Remember, there is nothing at this point that has been left to assume; thereby, the sales executive now believes the time is right to just say, not ask, do we have enough here to fully work for you or do we need to add anything else: now sale is assumed. We go through the work of the sale, or should I say; the work of processing through a faith operation to receive from God the manifestation of the thing hoped for to get to God’s close. Let’s take a look at how Father closes out his sale, or should I say, how he gives us the manifestation of the thing hoped for. When we look at the spiritual, and the natural, they both have the same thing in common when it comes to closing out the deal, or the thing hoped for. The success or manifestation in the spiritual world of God as well with the natural world of the sales executive will come down to the exact same thing: in both worlds success of the sale and the manifestation of the hope depends on the timing of the close. This is why we have to establish timing with Father in order for He and we to know what each other is doing. The Bible tells me that the timing of faith is now: Hebrews 11:1, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” We can say that both faith and sales is still ongoing as long as the evidence of things remain not seen. We will stay in the faith mode until we see our hope manifest; and we will stay in the selling mode until we see our proposal close. The Bible gives us many examples of God’s timing of the close or manifestation, but here is my favorite example because it is made so clear: Genesis 22:12, “And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.” This day and this time, Now, is when the all knowing God knew that he and Abraham had the perfect timing. So how can we help to establish the timing with Father in order to be in the Now timing with Father? We need more than the vision. We need to have ongoing dress rehearsals of the vision in our ongoing lives. When Father sees us going over the vision not just in our minds, but in our day to day operations, then he can have the timing of Now on the day when the processing of our hope is Now ready. If you think of a quarterback and receiver working hard to establish the timing on pass routes. When the play is executed properly, it is because the two are one on the same page, and that is how the timing is established. So go see your vision, but put it into spiritual structure by having dress rehearsals or role playing it out what you would do so that the Father can establish timing with you to be able to say Now I know.
