Once we have the Word back from God to our request made unto Father, then it’s time to get busy bringing to pass that which we hoped for. Although we probably will not really see the decision or answer back from God blossom out until we are on the go, we are the one that gets the go going at the start. We don’t get a jump start, for we are the jump start: we will usually be the one who starts off the operation to bring to pass that which we hoped for with that which we already had before we even made the request known to God. In many cases you can just flip a bible page, and it will be right there, the one making the request is the one with the substance already that will get it all started. When we look at Abraham on his way to the promised land without directions; but he did finally leave Ur with help of his father to jump start his trip to Haran: they jump started it without any new directions from God concerning the best way to go. Elijah came across a widow woman who house ended up eating for many days, and she was the one that jump started the many days of eating with a little meal and oil that she already had to make as a last meal for herself and her son. The last meal substance given to the Prophet instead, became the jump start to many days of eating. When it comes to God, we can’t rely on a planned decision, for with God most of the decisions that we need will come when they are next. Listen, do not be mistaken, you must make the best of plans with which you have at your disposal to work with; however, it should be your hope that those plans are for you to just get started, your jump start. It is my intent to make the best preparations I can with what I have, for it is only the reasonable service that a good steward can do; nevertheless, if I was left to depend solely on the decisions and preparations that I made, then I would not have the confidence in God to process in faith to the end. If our confidence was left to come from ourselves, then we would be in trouble. We Are The Jump Start, Then Father Will Take It From There.
We have to know that God just wants us to move forward in faith so that he can use what is available along the way from where we start. It is by human nature to lean to our strength; therefore, it is great of God to have us jump start, for we will start with the little substance we know that we have left. God, even unto Father, he will take it from here, but he knows that here is where our best foot forward will be: by this time we will have already combed all that we know, and this will have us ready to jump start. The jump start is not a hope to start, the jump start is with that you know you have to start. When Jesus sent the boys out on an excursion for the first time, excursion sounds like pledge night doesn’t it; for he told them to go, but go without supplies and let the members of the Body supply you. They took off with whatever rest they had, whatever meal they had eaten, and they practiced up on their dust shaking off their sandals skills. It is not by chance in which their needs will be met, but it will be by others that are more than likely giving themselves a jump start also in which their needs will be met. This is the way of God as he will pull from his many inventories along our path, and we just need to be ready to flow with it when it comes. And once we jump start the operation off, Father has to take it from there as we find ourselves in a place without the substance needed if he doesn’t take over. We should not jump start in doubt and disbelief, but in knowing that this is how we do it; therefore, all is well. So make your preparations to do the best that you can when called upon to jump start; but find your joy and peace in knowing that all power is in his hand. We Are The Jump Start, Then Father Will Take It From There.
