We do not have to be the owner of the horse, to have a horse in the race, as the saying goes. So if twenty horses run in the Kentucky Derby, and 147,000 people gather to see it, then we have twenty owners, along with co-owners, and a few major investors to sum up the actual owners to all horses compared to the number of non-owners in attendance at the race. Yeah, you really don’t have to be a owner of one of the twenty horses racing in the Kentucky Derby to have a horse in the race. You can bet, Lol, that a share of the record breaking and setting $179.0 million bet at the last Derby, according to usatoday.com, had many wagers made by many people who did not actually own a horse in the race. However, whenever one of the non-owners made a wager on a particular horse, the person making that wager now had a horse in the race with a ticket to ride. So for about two minutes, if you have a ticket to ride a particular horse, then you now have your horse racing in the Derby. How about that? Which Horse In The Race Is Yours?
It is so important for the members of the Body of Christ to know that we depend on the horse that we have in the race to bring home that in which we hoped for. When the Father was in Heaven with his Holy entourage of angels worshipping and praising him, what the Father wanted was rightly called his Will. However, when the Father looked ahead to earth with the future members of the Body of Christ worshipping and praising him to a somewhat lesser degree than his Holy entourage of angels; then what the Father wanted seem more like a Bill than his Will, in need of a ride to Capital Hill. And the Father saw that by the time all of the left and right terms of the compromise finally does come forth, his Will would be made a bill that no longer included all the things his Will needed to bring to pass that which he hoped for. Then I could imagine Jesus saying to the Father, and this is so Jesus, “I will deliver your Will Father to the people directly myself.” Wow, that is so Jesus: forget the world system when it comes to the Will of the Father. Jesus would come and worked the world system to his compromise, and did not let the world system work the Will of his Father to its compromise. Jesus would show up with little, and with no place to lay his head: Luke 9:58, “And Jesus said unto him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.” Jesus would also send his Apostles on short journeys requiring provisions; however, he would tell them to take none with them, and use the provisions without compromise offered by those of whom you were also a blessing. Jesus would always show up to the race the owner of no horses, but he would always leave having more horses in the race running to win with his ticket to ride. Jesus would always look for the horse to supply that in which he had need of, and then he would get a ticket to ride him to victory in the home stretch. There are always a few horses running there where you are, but which horse is running with what you have need of in the homestretch? The horse that provides what you have need of in the homestretch, is the horse that can get you through to the end with the victory. And remember, we don’t need to own the horse, but we do need to get a ticket to ride the horse on to the finish line. We do not identify our horse in the race too early, for he can not finish the spiritual race; however, we get out ticket to ride our horse in the homestretch because the strength to finish the race is there.
