It is not our place in the faith process to figure out how everything will work together for good to all of us that love God; however, it is the place of God, even unto the Father, to work for our good in all things. Romans 8:28, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” And because it is within our time while building a relationship with God, we can come to know that all things will work together as so. John 14:9, “Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father? When after having been so long time with God we come to know that all things work together for good to them that love God, entering into a faith operation to bring to pass that in which you hope for should become an expectation of success; and not a fear of making a bigger mess. When the Lord gives us his Word to walk in, he is not expecting us to have doubt and disbelief to any degree when it comes to working the things of that Word out to our good. He is expecting to have been so long time with you, and for you to have known at this juncture that he can do this thing with his hands tied behind his back. lol! That’s just me and my relationship with God, even unto the Father, just running off at my truth. So where are you with your relationship with God? Do you know it to be to the upmost confidence in God that the thing in which you are facing will be worked together by him for good to you? We might even have to ask you to define what does all things working together for good to you actually means. It might not mean the same thing to you as it would mean to me. The same Word coming forth from God, but servicing the many different lives of the members of the Body of Christ, will make that Word have to take a Motrin as it has to be made flesh to so many different meanings. We (sons and daughters) Calculate, And He (Father) Calibrates.
I remember being in a meeting years ago with a couple of Pastors. We agreed that the Word received by all three of us at that time had the same meaning that God would supply our need; however, it would have a different meaning for me than it had for the two of them when it came to working things out together to our good. We all had been given an eviction notice, and their meaning or belief of working things out together to their good, was to avoid having their congregation see them go through the humiliation of being put out of their homes. These two members left the home taking all of their belongings with them before the date of the eviction notice had come. Now to me, the meaning of working things out together to my good meant that not only would I not be moving myself and my family out of the home; but neither would the four big deputies that showed up at my door, be moving us out of our home either. So I guess that we each received the meaning in which we had known the Lord to become in our lives after having been so long time with him. It is not that I had to know, and analyze all of the different results that were produced after each step along the way in order for me to know that all things would work together to my good. No no no, that is the place of God, even unto the Father, to calibrate all of the results of things; and then make the adjustments to where they will work together to my good. I don’t have to do that work. I had been with God, even unto the Father for so long a time, that all I had to do is to calculate the equation properly. And once I (son) calculate the equation properly, then he (Father) will calibrate all the results for any needed adjustments along the way. If the Father’s results show him that my calculations was right using my equation, but short of what I need to bring it to pass; then he will help my short comings or help my unbelief. There is but one equation in which I must calculate, and it is this: knowing God + knowing God Will Do It = Things Working Together To My Good. And that is the only calculation that I must do. So when something comes up, keep it simple. Ask yourself, based on what you know about God after having been with him for so long a time, will he do this for you? Not if he be willing: according to his Word, I already know that he be willing. Why else would he say that I will supply all your need…….., if he not be willing? Now if you start to doing all of the figuring out to help God get it done, then you have just taken over his job; and you don’t have all that is needed to be the one doing the calibrations. We don’t calibrate because it requires fixing outcomes in which we can’t fix. We calculate because it requires only knowing the equation, and then calculating the equation properly. If you don’t already know within yourself while the evidence still remains unseen, that God is going to do for you that in which you hope for; then follow the other natural options that you have at your disposal. It’s simple, if you don’t know that God will do it after all the time that you have known him, then you don’t do the equation. It’s the natural way for you this cycle around. We (sons and daughters) Calculate, And He (Father) Calibrates.
