There should be but one reason for any season that we enter into. And I can quickly give a couple of offerings to consider before getting a season started. One is that anytime you plan on entering into that which is not in your power to hold, you kind of want to make sure that the one who holds the power agrees that you should enter into it. I know that one could just forego the formalities of asking if it’s okay to enter into the season, and this is if one is thinking of oneself more highly than one ought, while knowing one should not. Romans 12:3, “For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.” And if it is decided by one to just enter into the season anyway without knowing how the one who holds the season in his power sees it, then that one can be assured of having more than just a thorn in the flesh to deal with for many a season to come.
When it came to the great Apostle Paul, who of himself he would not glory: 2 Corinthians 12:5, “Of such an one will I glory: yet of myself I will not glory, but in mine infirmities.” However, the Father took measures to insure that others would not exalt the Apostle Paul to the place of being exalted above measure. 2 Corinthians 12:7, “And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.” So a thorn in the flesh was given to the Apostle Paul to help keep others, not the Apostle Paul, from exalting and thinking more highly of the Apostle Paul than they ought. If God used a thorn in the flesh for the Apostle Paul to be kept in check in the minds of others; then I have no idea what the Father will give to those who lead the helping of assisting themselves into thinking more highly than they ought to think of themselves. Therefore, make sure you don’t need to know that answer, and always get the agreement of the one who holds the power. And by the way, my second offering to know before enter into a season: know who holds the seasons in his power. Acts 1:7, “And he (Jesus) said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.” So in order to even know the times or the seasons to enter into, you will need to know the Father: the Word just won’t do it for you. They indeed did know the Word, but the times or the seasons had they not come to yet. They were at the right starting place, but had not yet been given the okay by the “Son” to come to that place in the Father in order to know. John 14:6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” So are we ready to come unto the Father for the okay to enter into the times and the seasons? Come on, let’s cometh but by the Word made flesh. I just love it: making the Word to be flesh or natural for our benefit. We can’t pay bills with our spirit card. lol. There I go again. We Can’t Keep Father In The Loop, For He Is The Loop.
So How Do We Come To Know The Times Or The Seasons In Father’s Own Power? We come to know them in the Father, but by Jesus as he leads us by the Word: we follow the truth of the Word as he goes. Jesus will not have us come unto the Father, unless we can follow him into the truth. We must show that we can do that in our natural state in order to come to the Father. It’s like taking your shoes off to stand on hallowed ground. The Father only seeks those who can come unto him in Spirit, and in truth: John 4:24, “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” Once we follow the changes of the specific Word along the way to the place where the Father is holding our time or our season, we will then be different than we were when we started out on this particular Word. We would have now come to the Father, but by the Son (Jesus). We Can’t Keep Father In The Loop, For He Is The Loop.
