When we by faith receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we have indeed taken the very first step necessary for us to come unto the Father. Jesus is very clear in scripture that the only way to the Father is by him: John 14:6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” Now many have mistaken this scripture to only mean that we will have the opportunity for eternal life one day, and it will include life with the Father also. I submit to you my agreement with you concerning that particular truth; however, I also would like to make another offer to you to go along with the truth we already hold near and dear to our hearts. I don’t know what we would do if we were to find out that we would not be with both Jesus and his/our Father one day in eternal bliss. Thank God that we don’t have to worry about such a thing ever coming to pass according to what we have been taught, and from what we do know from reading our Bible. Jesus told us that he went to prepare a place for us: John 14:2-3, “In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And we all know from our teachings, and scripture reading that Jesus is seated at the right hand of glory: Ephesians 1:20, “Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places.” So if Jesus is set at the Father’s own right hand in the heavenly places, and there will we be where Jesus is also; then finish getting ready being prepared heavenly places for family as friends are on the way home. And that’s all I am going to say about that. lol. The Wrestle With Yourself Unto Father.
Now here is my other offer to you concerning coming unto Father other than in the eternal future in Heaven. I offer to you that we have to come to the Father in the temporal present on this earth. The Father has made it clear in scripture that his Word that is sent forth will not return to him void of the purpose in which it was intended: Isaiah 55:11, “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” So when the word that goeth forth out of the mouth of God goeth, to whom are we believing it to goeth forth to? That is correct. Every since Jesus came down with the new format, where the fulness of God was given unto him to dwell in bodily form, we became the next sons and daughters up after Jesus left to walk out the Word sent forth according to the Will of the Father for our lives. And of course you know who the bodily form represents? No, Jesus was the head of the body, and now seated back with the glory he had before the world was. We the members are the bodily form of Christ, the Church: 1 Corinthians 12:27, “Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.” It is the members that make up the body, and it is the members who are expected to follow the lead of Jesus in receiving the Word sent forth to make it truth. Jesus in his true nature in the Godhead is the Word made flesh, and he did all that was necessary to have us ready to walk in the truth of the Word sent forth once he left earth in physical form. When Jesus ascended upon high, it was Jesus, the Word, already God, that sent us the Word gifts from his position in the Godhead. Now you and I must take the Word, and use the fulness of God that dwells in the body by Christ Jesus; and not let it return void to the Father. And by the way, we have access to the fulness to include the gifts of the Holy Ghost, and the gifts of the Father: all of the Godhead is there for us to us to bring to pass that which we hope for according to the Father’s Will. So let’s take the Word sent forth to all of us, and make sure that we return it to the Father accomplishing that which the Father pleased. And don’t forget to say a praise to him as you return his Word to him not void. The Wrestle With Yourself Unto Father.
