The Word of God came to Hezekiah by the Prophet for him to get ready to die: 2 Kings 20, “In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live.” Now we all know, and we are directed by scripture to not go changing the Word of God: Deuteronomy 4:2, “Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.” There are many scriptures supporting this law from the beginning of the Bible, throughout the Bible, and unto the end of the Bible: Revelation 22:18-19 for example, “ For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, if any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” So regardless of the dispensation, and regardless of the scope of the Word of God delivered, there has been no liberty given by God to any man to come close to believing that the right to change the Word of God is given, period. It just isn’t so. Therefore, when the Word had come to Hezekiah to get ready to die, Hezekiah would now seek God for the season in which he wanted; for it would do no good talking to the prophet about changing the Will of God concerning the season that he now wanted. The seasons are held in the Father’s own power, and only he can make that change: Acts 1:7, “And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.” And if anyone would know this to be the case, it would be Jesus, for he was the Word made flesh. So Hezekiah did go ahead and seek God for the season that he wanted, and God did grant it to him: 2 Kings 20:5, “Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the Lord, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the Lord.” Oh what a mighty God we serve! We know that the prophet will usually walk in the anointing to heal, work miracles, and show the power faith to do whatever the Will of God is at the time, but the prophet Isaiah would not be directed to do that which is not the Word of God. The Word of God was for Hezekiah to die, so there would be no healing by the prophet as it was. In order for the Word to change, the Will would have to be changed first; and this is why Hezekiah had to bypass the prophet and go straight to God in order to plea for a change of Will. No change of Will, will mean no change of Word. Now let’s bring you and I on into this party. The Word of God has a life unto itself, and when we want to chase a season early to have the desires of our heart earlier, then the Father will have to make sure that we don’t play bumper cars with the Word and the Will running them into each other. All the members of the Godhead: Father (Will), Son (Word), and Holy Ghost (Power), each has life unto itself. So once the Will is sent forth as the Word, it is game on: each member will give life as needed from each to accomplish the Will sent forth in the best manner possible. Why did God (Will) tell Hezekiah that he would heal him once he came on the third day unto the house of the Lord? Again, why not just have the prophet do the prophet thing, and heal Hezekiah right then and there? Well God, even unto the Father, he was making sure that the Word and the Will did not run into each other to play destructive bumper cars. You know it is “not” all too often that we get to see the Word and the Will not in unified form trying to occupy the same space. Since the Father was going to change the Will, the Word with life unto itself was operating for a moment in the blind: much needed “new” Will information could not be sent forth in time as the new current Word, since the request by Hezekiah for a new season was not asked before the Word to die had already been sent forth. In order to answer the question as to why did God (Will) tell Hezekiah that he would heal him once he came on the third day unto the house of the Lord, I have to show you why God had no choice in the manner. It is his responsibility, being the greater member of the Godhead, to keep all the three members of the Godhead in their own lane. Do you remember when Lazarus died, and was raised by Jesus after the third day? Jesus waited to the third day to pass because he wanted the people to believe that it was his Father that sent him. Jesus knew that the people believed that the body had no chance of recovery after the third day according to religious law. So Jesus waited for the third day to pass by so that he would get the credit for raising Lazarus from the dead to glorify his Father in heaven. If Jesus had raised Lazarus any earlier, the people would not have viewed Lazarus as ever being completely dead yet. And here is the main thing that connects my answer to Hezekiah: John 11:4, “When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.” You see where Jesus says, “This sickness is not unto death,” but we know that Lazarus did indeed die. Now let’s link things together with Hezekiah in order to get our answer as to why Hezekiah had to wait three days to be healed. Let’s read again 2 Kings 20:1, “In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live.” You see where the Word says, In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death, but we know that Hezekiah did indeed not die at all. So here we go: I need the upper level sons and daughters of Father to ride with me now. I now need you to not focus on what was said, but to focus on who said what was said. We have Lazarus with a sickness not unto death as said by Jesus (Word), but he died; and we have Hezekiah sick unto death as said by the Prophet(Word) of God, but he did not die at all. If we look at what was the “Word” said about each, Lazarus and Hezekiah, we will see the answer to the question why wait to heal Hezekiah once he came on the third day to the house of God. Since the “Word” was sent forth concerning both Lazarus and Hezekiah, the Word with a life unto itself would go to bring forth the Will of God. Lazarus did not stay dead because the Word from Jesus never said that he would die. Jesus did the Will of the Father as was said by the Word, but in accordance with the law of man so that man would believe. And Hezekiah had to wait to come for healing on the third day because the “Word” with a life unto itself had come forth for him to die; and although the Will was changed at the last minute to give Hezekiah an additional fifteen years to live, the “Word” with life unto itself would come to rest from the purpose in which it was sent to accomplish over those next three days. This is how God would keep the bumper car effect from happening with the current Word and the replacement Word to come from the change in Hezekiah season from get ready for death to an additional fifteen years of life. Seek Father For The Season You Want.
When a Word is first sent forth to reveal the Will of the Father, it will immediately begin to accomplish the purpose in which it was sent. The Word given to Hezekiah to prepare for death did begin to effect many things related to dying, or his death into motion; and also it would begin to effect the lives of others in the link. If Hezekiah had received the new Word immediately sent from the new Will; and thereby being healed, there would be effects from the get ready to die Word running into the effects of the fifteen more years Word: this would cause a bottleneck in some areas of life between the two Words with a life unto each self. If you and I have been walking in one direction in a Word of God, and we see an opportunity to move into another season that we desire, we would need to make that request known unto God in order for him to send forth a Word from his Will that will give us the substance needed for the new season. The old Word will continue to supply substance for the current season, and not produce the substance for the new season. The Word can not recall itself, and if the season changes, we would need the Father to send forth the change in his Will by sending forth the Word to reveal the change. We only need to stop dealing so much, or being so concern about what the people of the earth think; and be concern with dealing with what the Father thinks in Spirit and in the truth as he is seeking after you. John 4:23, “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.” So take the offensive to go after the season in which you seek, but do it decently, and in order. Always Seek Father For The Season You Want. Let Him Send Forth His Will Revealed By The Word For That Particular Season To Receive The Faith Substance That Is Needed . The Word For the Other Season Just Won’t Do The New Season For You.
