There are not many who are saved and have received the Holy Spirit have found rest. We are so excited about salvation and the Spirit that we get caught up in the application of the new experience and power that is available to us. We want to do His work, however, we need to remember we are at His command and not the other way around. It is obedience to Father that brings rest. Knowing we are doing the will of Father always brings rest. Jesus was at rest doing Father’s will and He did not get excited and wonder what to do. When we find Father, we will find rest. This is not the rest we found when we found Jesus. Hebrews 4:8-10, “For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day. ⁹ There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. ¹⁰ For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.” It is not the rest you found when you found Jesus or the Holy Spirit. Always remember this, that when you found Jesus, you found the way to Father: John 14:6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” The rest you find with Jesus can not be the same rest of Father since you are just starting your journey to the Father; and therefore, you can not enter into a rest in which you have not yet even arrived unto, to enter. If you can just become skilled in the theoretical part of the Spiritual process, then you will become a sixty to hundred fold producer in the practical part of the Spiritual process. And also keep at heart that both the theoretical part, as well as the practical part of the Spiritual process are both the same truth of the one God; except that the practical part is the part that brings to pass the theoretical part. You see, I can say the theoretical truth all day long as is the case with most of the members of the Body of Christ, but to have what I say come into play, must be done with hands on practical application. What we all know in the natural is that great theory can kill if used by faith before being proven to be true: science. What we seem to not know in the spiritual is that great theory can kill if only used by sight before proven to be true: faith. The one thing that science and faith have in common is that both must go through their own processes in order to be proven to be the truth.

One can not enter into the same rest at the Word level in Jesus as one can enter into at the Will level in Father. It is just not set up to work that way theoretically or practically, even though both are mirror representations of the same truth. The theoretical mirror shows you the exact promises of God that do belong to you; however, the practical mirror shows you with hands on how to receive those exact promises of God that do belong to you. Theses two things are completely different, one from the other. And you can not have the same rest when you are just starting out on theory as you will have when you are finishing up at the practical end. Again, to find the rest of Father, you start the process by the Word: John 1:3, “All things were made by him (the Word); and without him (the Word) was not any thing made that was made.” Here is your process to the rest of Father. Anything that you desire to have made, that will be made, it will start with the Word; both theoretically and practically. How many of you have had things you hope for that you wanted to bring to pass? Yes, all of us, all the time hopefully. Now how many times out of all those times did the thing hope for start out finished? Yeah, me too, I can’t name a one. There were some things that came to pass quickly, but not any that came to pass the second I hoped for it: a process generally goes through the process every time. Now there maybe an anomaly in the process from time to time, but we can’t find any rest in that. The point is, if you are going to bring to pass a thing according to the Will of Father, without the Word was not anything made that was made. And there is a certain rest that you do get in Jesus by just knowing that you now have the Word by which the thing hoped for can be made. However, there is a deeper rest that you get in Father by the Will just knowing the thing is finished, DONE. The relationship with Jesus and the Holy Spirit requires you to work them out, where as the relationship with the Father requires the Will to work you out. Even Jesus worked out the Word, and the Holy Spirit those first thirty three years, but those last few Days after Peter cut off the soldier’s ear is when Jesus hour had come to do the Will; come to do His purpose, where he would soon give up the ghost for the Will to work him out to a greater rest.

If you look back over the times before the Word was made Jesus, the Word gave no one much rest: build an ark Noah says the Word, yeah, how am I going to do that; Now go to a land in which I will show you Abraham says the Word, yeah, I just pull out “Waze” to get there; Moses tell Pharaoh to let my people go says the Word, yeah, I’ll just run right over to let him know. I can not find many instances through out scripture where the raw, undressed Word; or even after the dressed Word, made Jesus gave the same rest as did the Will in Father being done. It is not set up to work that way. When I start driving on a long trip, I am rested when I start out on that Word to wherever I am going, but there is no rest like the rest I receive once I come to the end of the Will of that drive. I can now enjoy having the things that I hoped for, as oppose to having to process through all those miles to get to the end, the Will. I always deal with the practicality of the truth of the Word because I can’t pay any of my bills in hope on due day. Hope is necessary for me to have the faith substance, to come to pay the bills, but I must then know what to do with that faith substance for all practical purposes in order to have the substance be made to manifest in acceptable currency. And even when I lean on the Holy Spirit’s powers: faith, healings, working of miracles, word of knowledge or whatever I need from Him to profit withal, I still will need to move on that Word with this power in the ongoing process to bring it to pass. Now once I bring the power in to help me with the process to manifest the Word, I can then get another level of rest, but I am still required to continue to work out and walk out the processing of the Word. It is not until I have processed the Word in the needed Power, will my hour be at hand: here is where I enter into the rest of Father to let go, and let Father God have His Will be done.

I will leave you with a very simple, but practical example to apply to your most serious ongoing faith operation to enter into the rest of Father. I will use here the Word of God by Jesus to be “car wash.” So let’s process this word as though it was most golden. Since nothing that was made is made without the Word, let’s make it by the Word. First faith is the substance of things hope for, so I must have faith substance in which I hoped for by the Word “car wash.” So my faith substances are: I can wash my car in my drive way, I can wash my car at the high school track team fund raiser, or I can wash my car at Quick Quack where I have an account. Now that I have the Word “car wash” with substance to apply my faith to, I just need to go walk in the one substance in which I believe. Remember, this is not rocket science, regardless of the degree of the challenge of the faith operation, you still must just do the process. Matthew 21:21, “Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.” Now that we have faith substance, pick the substance in which you believe. Do not let people or be pushed into selecting a substance in which you don’t believe. We can not please Father, and enter into His rest without faith substance in which you do believe. And if you are in a more challenging faith operation, and you don’t yet have faith substance in which you believe to match your Word, then you must not move on a substance in doubt just to move. This is where you would produce the fruit of the Spirit of patience to wait for the faith substance to come in which you believe. If your time is about to expire concerning your need, call in another member with greater faith than you to see a substance in your midst in which your level of faith just may not be able to see. The reason I use simple applications is because I want you to learn the simple skill of the process, for it is the correct skill of the process or habit, along with true faith without doubt that will have the God head lead to turn out for you. The work to the rest of Father is always the same, and if you have the skill down to do the process correctly, then the faith substance will always come by hearing, eventually. If your arms get tired, as did Moses’ arms, other members of like faith can help your faith hold up the Word for you to do Father’s Will. In the example above, I applied my faith to quick quack for the Word, “car wash,” because I have an account. I then just pulled into the facility, the faith substance of the Word that I believe in to bring the thing hoped for to pass. Once I pulled in, put the car in neutral, and remove my feet from the brake, I could then just enter into the rest of the Will “car wash,” for my hour is at hand to now let go, and let quick quack. lol. There I go again. I almost made it without acting up. The Rest Of Father.
