This is usually not a good combination for any fighter: why would I hit myself with a hard right, setting myself up for the enemy to immediately hit me with his hard right, for me to be stopped there to finish the fight with my weak lefts. So how can this really be, and how can we really do this all the time? First of all, it is very awkward to even hit yourself with a hard right, but we do it all the time. This is an act that almost requires a certain intent turned habit, to even pull it off over and over. So let’s play this out in a sort of spiritual role play if you will. Let’s see how this can even happen while having some swing of normalcy to it. So I’m trying it right now, you know, trying to hit myself with a hard right. The thing that I’m finding out is that, if I am swinging at the enemy, but with the intent to hit my self, I have to make myself redirect my swing to the places where I have become comfortable at being hit. And once I set the target to where I am comfortable in being hit, then the enemy will also attack that spot to hit me with his rights. Then it became clear to me as to how we stunt our growth, and not outgrow the stunt. When we are walking out the Word of God to bring to pass that in which we hope for, and God brings us to a place where we need to move beyond, if we choose by our own will to not do what is the right thing as the faith substance is presented in our walk by God, then that is like hitting ourselves with a hard right. And once we don’t do what’s right for us with the faith substance presented at that time, then that means that the enemy is standing ready to immediately substitute the void with his substance that is best for what he wants to accomplish; and therefore, hitting us with his hard right. And once we have missed not doing what was our right to move on at that time, all we have now is what is left; and what is left does not have what it takes to outgrow being stunt. The Lord did not say that his yoke would just disappear, we still have to take it up as we go: Matthew 11:27-30, “All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Don’t Stunt Your Growth, But Outgrow The Stunt.
So why is the Lord’s yoke easy, and his burden light? You and I are not responsible for any of the burden, and yoke in which he carried, and he has already paid for on our behalf. In essence, the only yoke and burden that are hard and heavy for us, are the ones in which we make hard and heavy. If we could learn of him, of his ways in dealing with his yokes and burdens, we could really just take on his yoke upon ourselves, and not be so heavy laden. The Lord’s yoke is paid in full, and interest free, and he is offering to us, his family, the same terms of the kingdom plan. We have to be all the way in or all the way out: if you pick and choose when to take on what’s right for you, you will find yourself hitting yourself with your your own hard right. And as soon as you reveal the areas of comfort in receiving your own hard right, the enemy will be hitting you with his, and you will have to finish the fight with your lefts. It is like taking candy from a baby, if you are willing to take what is given to you to fight with. If you use the substance in which the Lord provides when you meet the stunt, the thing sent to stop you, you will be taken on the kingdoms hard and heavy yoke replacements for you to outgrow the stunt. So stop hitting yourself with your own hard right, which is always followed by a hard right from the enemy: once you show him where to hit you, he is going to keep doing it. Now when God shows you how to outgrow that which came to stunt you, or to stop your growth, stop trying to see if it’s from God. You should already know if something came from God because you should already be expecting it before it gets there. You don’t have to already know what it is exactly, but you should already know if it is a thing already hoped for, or if it is part of the vision already seen and laid out. And your eyes may not have seen what the Lord has in store for you, and your ears may not have heard of it either, but you will have already been aware of your yokes, burdens, and visions. When any substance just shows up in your life by any means, do not just discard it because you don’t understand it. You want to always make sure to exhaust it through the Word concerning that which you hope for or that which you have in your vision; and if there is a match to any of it, apply it to the matching yoke or burden, and let it reveal itself. Many have dismissed the thing that was only right for them, and therefore, they hit themselves with their own hard right. And remember, eyes have not seen, nor ears heard, what the Lord has instore: and if this is true don’t just discard that which is uncomfortable, and unfamiliar to you. Don’t Stunt Your Growth, But Outgrow The Stunt.
