Let’s just say that we have the whole group sitting around at the discipleship house, kicking back while Jesus lays down future scripture for us to recite, and the step team prepares for the upcoming step show against the Pharisees. lol! I tried to hold it back, but there I go again. Anyway, the province collector comes to the door asking for the tribute money to be paid to or worshiped up unto Caesar for all he is to the mighty empire. So if you are a follower of Christ, the King whose kingdom is not of this world, do you do what is Spiritually right, or do you do what is politically correct? Let’s ask Jesus the actual question, and then let him give his answer: Matthew 22:17, Tell us therefore (Jesus), What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not? Hold up now, and let’s see how Jesus wants this to go down: Matthew 22:19-21, “Shew me the tribute money (says Jesus). And they brought unto him a penny.²⁰ And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription? ²¹ They say unto him, Caesar’s. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s. So here is the, it depends boss: when you can remain spiritually right, and continue without stoppage to give unto God the things that are God without sin, then it is not a sin to be political correct by giving unto Caesar the things that are Caesar’s by law. In other words, “it depends boss,” so just be correct with God whether it is politically or even socially: let’s say that you without sinning spend more than you should by traveling regularly more than you should travel. You and the Father will still be good as long as those tithes and donations miss all of those more than regular trips that you are taking without sin. However, you may run into some trouble with the rent, utilities, and baby needing a pair of shoes correctness, but as long as you give God the things that are God, you will only have to watch out for your front.

Let’s look at another situation in which being Spiritually right, may be the only consideration afforded to you: here it matters not on what depends boss. Let’s say that the whole group is still together, but they went for a little stroll across the yard. And as they were being led by Jesus, their lead writer, they serenaded the multitude with poems, parables, and chants of Christian joy. Little did Jesus know that he was going to run into his Father, as his Father was out being about his own business. You can imagine how happy the two were as they came together at the appointed place just at the right time. This was unbeknown to Jesus at first, but as always, he was ready with his oil to roll with the Father whenever they met up. I know that you have been in those same shoes before, you are coming around the corner for an ice cream cone, and all of the sudden there is the Father waiting on you with work to do before you do the ice cream. I need you to keep in mind that they are trying their best to have Jesus operate as a man would, and he’s doing more than a good job with it, but you can imagine how difficult it must be after being the Word with the Father before the world was. Anyway, so here comes Jesus around the bend with his boys, and just like with you and I coming around the bend for ice cream, the Father has already staked out our next operation. The Father is going to need Jesus, as he is going to need you and me, to put what he is doing spiritually into natural manifestation by working with him to finish it in the earth. You see the Father, a Spirit, needed Jesus and us to dress up his work in the natural to have it be made flesh. And Jesus was the right one to head this operation, for he knew first hand what it meant to be the spiritual Word made flesh. So the Father new that Jesus would be heading around by the pool, and this man with an illness of thirty eight years lay wait as Jesus made his way unawares. It’s like you and I coming around to get the ice cream, and there is a man before the booth in need of help. So what is Jesus or us to do? And did I mention, today is the sabbath day in Jesus’ world at that time, meaning no such religious carrying on or one carrying his bed on the sabbath for it is unlawful. What is Jesus to do in this case? Will he be Spiritually Right, Or Politically Correct: It Depends Boss. And also is this a case of government law being broken as with the tribute money, or is this a case of religious law being upgraded as Jesus did so often while he was here on earth? In this case, I just love the answer that Jesus gave because it is more than an answer.

The answer given is more than an answer because it is not a choice. This is not one of them times when it just depends. Here is Jesus’ answer or his defense if you will, about his healing of the man on the sabbath: John 5:16-17, “ And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath day.¹⁷ But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.” So Jesus answer is that “My Father worketh hitherto, and I work. Jesus did not say that I work too, or also, but that I work. The fulness of God at work in Spirit form, now needs the fulness of God at work in bodily form. If Jesus does not do what the unseen God, even unto the Father is doing, then no one will know that anything was done because it will take Jesus doing it to make it flesh, or make it manifest. The same is true for you and me when on the way to just eat the ice cream cone mentioned earlier: when we turn that corner and find ourselves with a situation that the fulness of God in Spirit form is ready to do, it will not happen if we do not work what the unseen God is working. Now you must see Jesus in the right way to understand why this is not a choice for him to make that just depends. No, the Father, the fulness of the unseen God has already made the choice that today he is going to be Spiritually right, and not politically, or lawfully correct. And how do we know this is the way that the unseen God sees it? Well, first of all, see Jesus in the right way first. Jesus is not God operating as God, but Jesus is a man operating in the fulness of God. When Jesus gets to the man, he finds out that the Word to heal is already there, but the power to bring the Word to heal to pass is not there for the man. When the angel stirs up the water for the first one in to be healed, for thirty eight years, the man has had no power, or family help to get him in the water first after the stirring by the angel to be healed. So the unseen God, changed the operation for the man so that he can be healed. Now think of Jesus on that day, as you would think of yourself on today: it is not you who will decide to move on the man to receive healing on the sabbath. It is the Holy Ghost; a member of the Godhead, and part of the fullness of the unseen God, who will move on you as he wills according to the will of the Father to bring healing to the man. You as a man, and Jesus operating as a man at that time, will now work as the Holy Ghost works through you to bring healing to the man. The man being healed by man by the power of God is determined by God, because it is God who must do the healing; and therefore if healing was done, it was done by a decision that was made by God to do it, and not man. Many times we move in hope in God, and we are left with hope. We need to distinguish between hope and faith, so that we will be left with manifest. In this case, and on this day, God did not concern himself with political or lawful correctness, Jesus saw that his Father was at work, and he work. When you see the Father at work, it’s nothing for you to decide, except to get to work as he works. Spiritually Right, Or Politically Correct: It Depends Boss.
