If you have not made the transition from the neophyte plan, that is to say from the plan where the Word is your oyster, the time has come to transition all of your assets as well as your liabilities over to the Father’s plan. When you first come into the Body of Christ, receiving Jesus by faith as your Lord and Savior, there isn’t much at the time that you, a fired up newbie in your Christian walk, can’t believe God for to receive it. It seems as though everything you ask for can just come to pass, almost instantly. Well, when you are a new convert, just about everybody is your huckleberry as well: everyone is excited for you that you made the decision to come on into the Lord, and everyone including Satan is going to give you a minute to breathe before the time of real testing starts. When a new convert births its new life around seasoned members of the Body of Christ that’s been around the block a few times with the Lord, the new convert doesn’t have many prayers initially that even get a chance to make it all the way up to heaven before one of the brothers and sisters have already answered it before the bell even rings in heaven. I can remember having, no you don’t forget stuff like this, stuff being taken care of faster than I could pray them out. Now, you know how most new converts in the Lord just tell everything that’s going on, and how they just want to be forgiven for everything that’s going on. The poor little trustees in the back room, as well as others, are making as many mental notes of all that was said, and just prayed for in case the Lord leads them to help out at first. lol. There I go again with it. However, you do know if we hear that one need something, and have been blessed with enough, that prayer really isn’t going to ever make it up to the Father: there’s an army of many sons, and daughters always on standby for the Lord ready, willing and blessed to help the Father carry out his light weight work right there on the instant. And speaking of everyone including Satan given the newbie a minute to breath before the time of testing: Matthew 4:1-3, “Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred. 3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.” Whoomp there it is: there is the testing that comes as Jesus was removed from everyone, including Satan, for a period of forty days to fast and pray as a breather before taking and passing the Spiritual bar exam. Jesus was the kingdom of heaven, but he had to be baptized to fulfil the scripture, and to have a place of record to transition from the routine church work, and to continue his work being about his Father’s business from on his Father’s plan. It’s transition time, to miracle time, but let’s go back to before the baptism in Matthew chapter three.
So how do you “First, Put Your Life, At Your Level, On The Father’s Plan To Sail On?” Let’s look at how Jesus went about taking his life, at his level, and putting it on the Father’s plan to sail on. As you remember, Jesus had made the attempt to take his life from the regular routine way back at the age twelve level , and to put his life on the Father’s plan to sail on; but Jesus natural parents as well as his Father God, let Jesus know to put his Father horses on hold for a minute. The Bible let’s us know how Jesus later found favor with man as well as with God for not only being the one with the most talent, the one with the most knowledge, and the one with the most promise, but for also being the one at the age twelve level willing to listen, and obey the ones with the oversight over him: Luke 2:51-52, “And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them: but his mother kept all these sayings in her heart.52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.” I remember being asked to hold a work shop at one of the major Church district conventions years back. In the workshop I was asked this particular question by a minister from one of the Churches, and in attendance was the Pastor of this minster as well: question, “If you were invited to come speak at a Church, and your Pastor said no, not to do it, what would you do?” Well, my answer to the minister went exactly like this: “I said, matter of fact I can remember when that first happened to me, and how I told my Pastor about the invite to speak. And as I was standing there all full of joy, with expectation to receive the go ahead to speak at that Church for that Pastor; my Pastor looked at me and said no, you can’t do it.” Now I did not explain to the minister who asked the question as to why my Pastor had said no, but I just made it clear as to why I could answer the question so definitively since I had gone through it not so long ago at that time. However, I did tell that minister of all of the favor that I had received from man and from God since that time just because I showed that I could be counted on to be obedient when I had the most to lose. I ended my explanation answer to that minster with, see how I am standing here before this crowd of minsters today, and I’m booked with the full gospel business men, as well as with others for the rest of the year. So I believe that at that time, as I did, that I had to leave that minster in a good place in the Lord, and toward leadership.
So when time comes to transfer up from your routine, and reasonable service to the Lord, in your life, at your current level, and on the Father’s plan to sail on, you will have to transition from the leadership of man as well in decency and in order. Jesus, the reason for the season, had no problem doing it at level twelve age, and even years later at roughly level thirty age, doing this same subjection to the man who was there to make the way for him to come. The Father, as he publicly announced with Jesus, he was well pleased. When you have to go through decency and order, you can not lose: all you can do is to set yourself up to gain favor with man and with God. Yes, without the favor of man, God is still God, but why volunteer to take the scenic route where you run the risk of running out of time, and lacking in man’s resources. Before Jesus came to Matthew 3:16, “And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:” it wasn’t like Jesus was a new convert, he had been working toward this since before the age of twelve, even at the beginning of his birth. These different stages were just to mark the stages in time, and make record for all of us to follow. So the time has now come for Jesus to test, and then to be on the Father’s plan here on out: he will show things according to the Will of the Father in which he had not shown us before, and take on anything head on that get’s in his way as he heads toward the cross. You and I will, and have gone through times of testing, what did we and the Father find out about our relationship after this round on the mound. The pitches are coming much harder than when we were newbies, but were we able to take our lives as they currently are, at their current level, and put them on the Father’s plan. There comes a time, and the time is now, where we must be exposed to more in the fight in order to win more in the fight. However, we must give it to the Father’s plan as we are, on our current level, before more can be shed to us. It is just the way things are done in the heavenly realm: we ask for a lot, and many times it takes a lot to receive it. When we ask for a something as sons and daughters of the next level, I hope you have discerned by now that it is not a question for the Father to answer. The Father has already answered that we can have it, but the thing at hand is how close or how far, near or away, are we from being able to shed into it. If all things being equal, the caterpillar never has to ask if it has in it the stuff of butterfly champions. The thing is does it have in it the stuff to avoid all the other stuff along the way to becoming the butterfly champion that may try to stop it from making it to the shed so that in can fly on. So today, make sure you take all you have today as you are, and transfer it to the Father plan so that you can make it to the shed, and sail on.
