You know it hasn’t always been Fathertime, or the Father’s time. I know that it was not the Father’s time since back in the days of the frustrated Apostle Paul, but this gives us a good barometer of how far away from Fathertime that the Body of Christ had to come up to: 1 Corinthians 3:1-3, “And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. 3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?” So you can see how far away from the level of the Father Godhead were most of these people back at that time. It’s like the Apostle Paul was meeting them at the University to teach them as if they were, as oppose to meeting them at the elementary school to teach them as they were. Paul was a different apple than the original twelve Apostles as we can read here: Acts 22:3, “I am verily a man which am a Jew, born in Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, yet brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel, and taught according to the perfect manner of the law of the fathers, and was zealous toward God, as ye all are this day.” Paul was an educated man with a zeal, meaning once he got started in the direction he was going in, you would have to blind him in order to redirect him. lol. There I go again. Now most of you have been supervisors, and trainers on your job, and we in those positions seem to forget just how not easy it is for a newbie to catch on quickly to what we with zeal have now found to be so easy. Well, as you can see all of these centuries after the Apostle Paul, we still have in the Body of Christ much envying, strife, and divisions; so the progressive and very educated Paul would have been a challenging boss for most anyone at anytime. Matter of fact, and this is just flowing off the oil, the Father and Jesus went ahead and sent the Apostle Paul on to the Gentiles so that he could run things without having the other Apostles unlike Paul, having to over work the the fruit of the Spirit with Paul being amongst the original boys. So yeah, the Body of Christ would need centuries to go by before it would be ready for the Father to hang out at the earth division of heaven.
So let’s back it up for a minute, and put some balance to all of this milk, and meat stuff. Let’s think about entering into a job, a new person is not expected to be up and running as efficiently as those who have been doing the job for years. Now every once in a while, you will find that one person (Paul), who can just take the ball and run with it. Now let’s think about entering into the Body of Christ, and lets read scripture about the expectation of the new convert: 1 Peter 2:2, “As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:” Let’s stop right there because as a new convert, you are to desire the sincere milk of the word that by it you may grow. So the zealous Paul has to know that he is one of a kind, and the rest of us will need time to grow. It’s just like with a natural baby, the baby will not be skateboarding at six months old, for it will need time to grow. As you know by having hindsight with the Body of Christ, something that the Apostle Paul did not have since he was also one of the early pioneers of the Church, we have come along way over a long period of time. And the scripture that the Apostle Paul was using to describe, really neophyte members of the Body of Christ from back in the early time, will now apply to us: those who have built up the stature of the Body of Christ by standing on all of those many and many of Body of Christ members who paved the way for us to be strong members of this Body of Christ. Paul did not have all before him as you and I have had all before us. As the insurance commercial would say, we can do a thing of two now because we have had many to come before us who have seen a thing of two. You remember how Paul was blinded so that he could have his eyes opened in order to see a thing or two in a way in which he would have never been able to see in that way. The way that the Apostle talked back in his day was by no means wrong, it was just by all means way ahead of the development time of the Body of Christ. So Just Why Is It Fathertime, Now? Because the Body of Christ Now, not back then, is ready to be what Paul wanted it to be before it was ready to be it. You may know that God has told you that he blessed your infant baby to be great one day, but at three months old, today is not going to be that day: even the only begotten Son was not put on that kind of fast track pace to glorify the Father.
So look at where we have come from, and you will clearly see just why is it Fathertime, Now? Let’s read the words of scripture from the frustrated Apostle Paul, who would be turning flips if he had any clue that today in 2021, the Body of Christ would just begin to be ready for the meat that he preached so so long ago. It was so the Apostle Paul to have had the Body of Christ ready to flow with the Father back then, as oppose to centuries later when the Body is finally ready to flow with the Father. Now here is the word of scripture written by the Apostle Paul: Hebrews 5:12, “For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.” Can you just hear the frustration in the Apostle Paul? And these were really still babes in the Lord now that we know what we know as the centuries have gone by. How many times, again and again, has the minister along with other ministers have had to preach to us the same word over and over before we could apply it accordingly; and the Apostle Paul in a very young Church is going off about having to do it just again. At times back in my early walk, I could wonder how I had earned a four year degree, but was taking so long to receive the understanding that I needed from my Pastor concerning spiritual things. Well, I would like for the Apostle Paul to know that the time is at hand for the Body to make that move to flow with the Father. The Apostle Paul back in his day was one member of the Body ready to flow with the Father, but the Body as a unit was not ready to flow with the Father because it did not receive the microwave sight from its blindness as was afforded the Apostle Paul: it took the Body of Christ as a unit a long long time to see what the Apostle Paul could see shortly afterwards. And don’t forget how the very Apostles that walked with Jesus himself, took a much longer time to get out of Jerusalem then it should have taken: Jesus just told them to wait for the promise of power, he didn’t say to wait to be the power promised. So let’s move on from the milk now, and become what we ought to become as the Apostle Paul wrote to the baby church, as we are no longer a baby church today: Hebrews 6:1-3, “Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. 3 And this will we do, if God permit.” God even the Father will permit us to grow up, and to become the Body of Christ that we ought, and this is why it is Fathertime Now. We can’t keep going over and over the principles of the doctrine of Christ as seasoned members, leave that for the new converts. We ought to be leaders by now at this stage, but we the seasoned still need to be lead. The Body of Christ is ready to step into the Father’s time Now: unlike during the Apostle Paul’s time, we have a mature body of members as a unit that can walk in the word; and we also have a mature body of members as a unit that can walk in the power of the Holy Ghost; and now we just need a few members to break through the barrier, and not fall back on the principles of the doctrine again, but spring forward to the Father’s time. This will eventually lead to a mature body of members as a unit that will break through the barrier to join the Father also: John 4:23, “ But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.”
