Living life without the Father’s backing would essentially be having the power of life to live from day to day, but without the turbo boost. Jesus states the difference in a parable told to the Pharisees as to why he came down from heaven to earth: John 10:10, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” Here we have it: you can have salvation to be free to live life now and eternally, and while you are living now, why don’t you just move on up to our abundant package, and live life more abundantly. I didn’t even know that it was possible to live life from day to day without the Father’s backing since I’ve been living it with his backing for so long. So I went back to when God had just had it with Adam and Eve back in the Garden, and to the thing that God said about their prospects for the future: Genesis 3:22-23, “And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:23 Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.” Well, one thing for sure is true about this little situation going on with God, Adam, Eve, and let’s include the serpent, and that is this is no little situation we have here. It is clear in scripture, and safe to say that these three, especially Adam and Eve, they have totally lost having God to back them up. Matter of fact, God is so done with them that he puts them completely out of the Garden to go fend for themselves. However, this is what caught my ear as I was reading in Genesis 3:22, “and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:” now hold it right there. We have God who is clearly not backing the fallen couple anymore, but yet in still, there is still a possibility against the will of God that Adam and Eve could still live on for ever without the backing of God. We know that God is not backing them anymore, but we also know that they could live on still, if they could just get their hands on the tree of life and eat, one more time, time, time, time, for the life time. lol. There I go again. So how can this be, if God did not put an Angel to guard the tree of life, Adam could have lived on without God’s backing? Say it ain’t so, but he did say it was so.
Let’s look at how one can eat from the tree of life, without the Father’s backing, and just live on, I mean and just live on. The good news for us today is that we can get to the tree of life, and receive by faith our salvation for eternal life, and eat of the Word of life all day long if we choose to. God will not fence off or post Angels to keep us away from Jesus or the Word of life, but if we are short on patience or do not know how to receive life more abundantly, we could easily live aspects of life without the Father’s backing. And in today’s kingdom’s world, we don’t have to worry about the Father not wanting to back us, but we do have to worry about settling for less to soon; and missing his best for us. And because we take God for granted so much today, it is not hard to find our selves in a position to not have the Father’s backing, for God is always right there, right? We can expound on this later, and do a step by step break down on the process of how to not settle to early, but today I want to keep it short and sweet so you don’t miss moving when God is trying to move you to abundant living. When God sent forth himself to the world, he made himself to be quite the efficient one above and beyond any reasonable service. What he did was to become modular from one, so that he would always be one in himself, while having the empowerment of God through out his God head process. For example, when God was ready to send forth his Word to the world, he did not speak it forth himself, but he did send forth a complete communication department and called him the “Word” of God: he was all God from God, but with one distinction; like God, the Word was given a life of its own: John 1:4, “In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And of course, when that Word was made flesh, it continued in Jesus to have life in himself: John 5:26, “For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;” And by the way, yeah you guessed it, the Spirit of God has life in himself: John 6:63, “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” Oh, and don’t forget, you and I are a work in progress, as God said, “let us make man in our image and our likeness of God: one day we will see what we can be in God. So remember, when the Word is giving life to what it is doing, be patient and don’t settle so quickly, for the Word may be setting things up to pass you on to more abundance, and not for what you see to be your finale. When we take a step in the process, and claim it as the finished product, we may then be about to settle life for less instead of stepping up to the Father’s backing for the abundance.
