We in the Body of Christ understand what society means when it says to reach for the stars, and if you land on the moon; well then, that isn’t so bad either. In the Body of Christ, we have specific directions to support our new attitude, and that is by the continued renewing of our minds from the ways of the world to the ways of the kingdom of God, even unto the Father. They each, the world and the kingdom of God, have very good methods of producing high achievers. The big difference is that the ways of the world encourage us to put out a 110% effort, and be proud of the outcome as long as you gave it your best effort. Now on the other hand, the ways of the kingdom of God encourages its members to put out a full faith effort, and be there at the end to land on what we shoot for. Here lies the difference: the world ways are structured to give you the best of you, while the kingdom of God ways are structured to give you the best of God. The reason why the Church is still playing second fiddle to the ways of the world is because we too are trying to live by the world’s ways first, and then use the kingdom ways as back up when all else has failed. I have kingdom news for you, the head of the kingdom of God announced on the first week of the beginning, the kingdom is no back-up to anything. The first man that was put in the kingdom’s Garden back at the beginning to dress it and to keep it, he was kicked out as he tried to put the ways of the world ahead of the ways of the Kingdom. And we are still doing that even today as we live our day to day lives. I get excited when I hear of the success stories of Christians as they give the Glory to God for their successes in their fields of endeavor. And then I turn right around and feel for the many more Christians as they are still giving their hope to be stories going on years, while continuing to give the Glory to God for keeping them as they venture out to endeavor to reach that hope every day. I know the background of many people who love God seemly as hard as I do, but neither of the two systems seem to be getting them to that they hope for at the past many year moments. The Father wants them, the majority of Christians, to land on what they shoot for also.

I am a product of both, the world ways and of the kingdom of God ways: I believe that I was just blessed to always find my self in favor except for when in times of testing. The thing for me is this, I seldom ever found my self in a pickle unless the Father directed me to let him have his way for a season. I always knew the University where I would attend for higher education, even before I was in high school I knew it; at least I knew where I wanted to attend. My parents didn’t tell me, my God didn’t give me a Word or a Vision on it; no, I just always wanted to go there, so I went. I’m trying to show those still reaching, the attitude in this world to have, if you want to land on what you reached for. Now, my parents and counselors, and I would agree with them on your behalf, at least submit to more than one college just in case it doesn’t work out. I did not waste my time doing the just in case route because things had always worked out when I reached for them before; so why would I need to doubt it, or play it safe now. Besides, I wanted to go only there; why include other options to fail was my thinking? How do you see yourself in this world? The children of Israel saw themselves as grasshoppers as they considered a take over of land from people that used grasshoppers for target practice: they had already sealed their faith not to get what they reached for. If you have Jesus in your heart, you should have the Sprit of Abba within you to where there is no fear of the world’s system: Romans 8:15, “ For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.” Now Jesus, that was a baaad man: if you claim to have his Spirit in your heart, and you can’t get what you reach for, it is because of fear of this world’s system. And no one receiving the Spirit of adoption, who really knows Jesus, is afraid of this world’s system. You know the whole story on Jesus, Jesus looked at them when his hour had come, and said this: John 19:11, “Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin.” Now honestly, it’s oil check time; do you really have that God esteem stirring you up at battle time? Who do you believe is in control over you: even when the world has you down, do you know, and believe that God is over it? I know talk is cheap when it comes to rubber meets the road time; and if all you find around you is cheap talk at your hour, hit me up, I’ll reach with you. So go ahead and sign up for some, as we say in Tennis, some qualifier matches, and have success at reaching for victory in those. And once you get that confidence from them, you can approach the Father to continue to this world’s main competition. And always remember: “The Father Wants Us To Land On What We Shoot For.”
