We know that Joseph was put on ice to make sure that he didn’t go get involved in something else, and not be there ready and eager for service to God at the exact time. You know, after you spend twelve, thirteen years in jail, there is a certain eagerness that you have in which can not be manufactured: I mean you are ready to go, and very willing to not just interpret the King’s dream, but you will interpret the King’s children dreams as wells if it will get you up out of here. lol. Plus, Joseph had all of this time to come to grips with the mistreatment that he received from his brothers: sometimes the mistreatment received from others will take you to a place that robs the new kid on the block from receiving the best that you could have to offer. God needs Joseph, just as he will need us, to get beyond some things from our past in order to become the great leader of other people in our future: you can’t lead people if you have already put them unfairly in your everyone can hurt me box. So Joseph had time to deal, and prove to God that he wouldn’t be turned by this sifting of his soul. How are you doing right now? Is your soul well, or maybe it’s going through a time and season of challenge? Cut it short when you can, and you may cut the entire season short; but it still depends. Oh yeah, you can cut your season short; just stop having to go through the same trivial flesh lessons over and over for starters by just remembering that it is really not about your gratification. We tend to think that all things working together for our good means that all things are suppose to feel good, and be good in our sight. I can tell you without a doubt that nothing about the crucifixion felt good to Jesus, and it definitely didn’t look good to Jesus; but I bet that you will agree that it certainly did work together for our good, didn’t it? And that’s another thing that goes into the depends equation; how long will we be in it for the wrong reason and motivation? It’s nothing worst than being in a season for the wrong reason with the wrong motivation. There is no one to stop you, or change your course; and by the time you realize what has happened, the season is over for you. The only time when you want to be taking a long time on a season is when it is God that is having you take a long time, because he will bring you out in time as he did Joseph.
I can remember one time and season that I was in just for the Father to know for sure that I had that test under my belt. He doesn’t tell you that at first, but you begin to get a sense as you go through it if this is going to turn out well for you. The Father had allowed me to live in a place that I would have never went into unless I was in dire straits. It was like taking a math test, and you knew after the first five questions that you were going to ace it. I knew right from jump that I not only had this test under my belt, but that I would knock it out of this season park. It was from the interaction that I had with some of the neighbors within the first hour that let me know that I had this. We were there for only three months, and on the day we were moving out, a lady said to me that we didn’t look like we belonged there anyway. I knew that God was telling me through the lady that we finished the season. The Father will send his only begotten son to the cross, so you should already know that you are going to be sent somewhere that you don’t belong. So make it as short as possible by getting on down the road with a good humble attitude, and try and cut this season short if you can: you know it all depends. And stop thinking that you are being picked on, the Father is just trying to find out at what level you can handle his business before he put more on you than you can bear. How else do you think he finds out if it’s too much for you to bear? Oh no, Procter and Gamble wasn’t the first to do test markets with it’s products before having massive roll outs. God has been testing his children since the beginning starting with Adam and Eve. The first man Adam made from the dust, and was made male and female as one, he was the first and last man to be test marketed in the image of God, and we know how that turned out: Genesis 2:18, “And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.” So once God decided to stop making the man all one in the same image as God is, that is being all one; he separated the one man from containing both the male and the female, and made a separate female man from the first dust made man’s rib. Now they would be male and female as two, and not as all one or alone as the first man Adam was. The problem with the first test market, the one where the man from the dust contained both the male and female as one, is that God used those results to make determinations on the second man, instead of running a set of new test on this second man Adam now made separate as male and female. And as we now know that the second man Adam, not all one anymore, still ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil just as the first man did eat as all one.
Anyway, the shortest season that you can officially have is ninety days or three months using natural standards, and the longest season is your life time, especially since we have scripture stating that a day is as a thousand years with the Lord. Plus we already know that the Lord carries things unfinished from generation to generation until they are finished. God even told Abraham that his seed would be in captivity for four generations or the four hundred years neighborhood: Genesis 15:13, “And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;” And in this time and season of affliction, the life times of many will come and go before it’s all over with the season still going on. And here is another reason why “The Father’s Duration Of Times And Seasons Just Depends.” Genesis 15:16, “But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full.” And again it just depends: we see here that the completion of the season and time of affliction was also including how long would it be before the Amorites could finish fully afflicting the people. I mean, they can’t just badly afflict the people, but they have to get it all out of their system by reaching a point of affliction that consumes all that they can give out. THE DURATION OF THE 400 YEARS INCLUDED ALL OF THIS STUFF THAT JUST DEPENDS.
