Jesus was giving this talk to the multitude of people, in that how they should know the things that are drawing near unto them before they actually arrive: Luke 12:54-56, “And he said also to the people, When ye see a cloud rise out of the west, straightway ye say, There cometh a shower; and so it is. 55) And when ye see the south wind blow, ye say, There will be heat; and it cometh to pass. 56) Ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time?” Yeah, Jesus definitely would have been the first to coin the phrase, this is not rocket science, if rocket science would have been around. He calls them hypocrites in their ability, and desire, in that they choose not to want to know how to discern this time. And not only is Jesus giving them simple examples to understand that they could know if they wanted to, but he also tells them that what he ask of them is easy: Matthew 11:28-30, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29) Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30) For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” So why does it not feel many times like Jesus’ yoke with us is easy, and his burden to us light? Well that’s easy to answer, because we always miss the first part, and the most important part of what Jesus says in verse 29, and we mainly focus on little bitty verse 30. You see before we can experience the “for my yoke is easy, and my burden is light part, we have to actually do verse 29: doing verse 29 is what qualifies us to walk in the “FOR” part of verse 30.

I have walked and talked with many Christians that really do love the Lord, but they make this walk seem like Rocket Science by skipping over most of the Spiritual Science. You know, it’s this real funny commercial out that markets its product on the results of the science: they always have someone who is “pretty sure” of what they’re doing, and then they go and do the science to show them the difference in being certain, and just being pretty sure. When the commercial finishes running through the science of being pretty sure, the results of what they learned from going at it from a “pretty sure” stand point, made the FOR certain stand point a easy and light way to go. We need to take the FOR certain science, and learn how it becomes a yoke that is easy, and light. We hear take my yoke and learn, but we’ve already skipped doing the science of it all to learn the how; and have already gone straight over to sit in the easy and light cheering stands without even doing the “FOR” scouting report. The scouting report with the results that were learned from all of the pretty sure vs the FOR certain science activity, is how we know to discern the spiritual activity as we close in on the Glory of the Father’s presence. And when you know that you are closing in on the thing that you hope for, your yoke is indeed easy, and your burden is light. Here’s the thing that you have to remember so that you can stop yourself in your tracks, and not get too far off the course of where the season is going to open up to pour out your thing hope for. The Glory of the Father’s presence will end up being where His Word ends up manifesting or being made flesh at the end of the Godhead process. So as you are moving along through the process by following the unfolding of the Word, if you are not seeing or hearing any natural substance of faith coming your way, you want to stop and confirm your discernment. Just like with discerning the face of the sky, and of the ground, you will see a cloud or hear some Santa Ana winds to let you know that you are discerning your way correctly concerning that which may be closing in. Elijah kept going back until the seventh time, and then he saw the tiniest cloud, but it confirmed that he was discerning correctly. And again, it was tiny, but there will be the presence of the Father’s glory to lead you, where the Word will end you. If you are not seeing any presence, or natural faith substance that matches the Word; in Elijah’s case the Word was rain, so we wait for the natural faith substance, cloud: once he sees cloud for the Word rain, interview for the Word Job, phone call after ten years for the Word forgiveness, and getting your land back for the Word opening the windows of Heaven. We can go on and on, but always look for that Glory in the presence of natural faith substance before you move any farther; and no longer just be pretty sure, but make sure you be FOR certain.
