Fathertime: Bandages or Bondages, You Must Remove Either To Live Life More Abundantly!

When we were blessed to come to Jesus, we came as we were. There was no prepping or social gathering made ready to celebrate the moment. All the things that you had coming in to receive him, you more than likely still had all of those same things thirty minutes after you come out of having received him: whether bound by bandage as having a body in need of healing, or bound in bondage as having a body in need of freedom; you will need to have either removed in order to go forth with life more abundantly. The main additions that we all did receive were to come away with our sin debt paid, and Jesus in our hearts. And if some of us were ready for it, we came away being filled with the Holy Ghost as evidenced with speaking in tongues. Although it is great when the two events will happen bang bang, but if not as is usually the case, Heaven is already in rejoice mode the instant a soul is saved. Jesus is happy because he has done again the thing that he came to earth to do, and that is free us that we might have life. John 10:10, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”

So in order to might have life, one would need to just stop in his or her tracks to make and take the opportunity to receive Jesus.  I personally would love it if new converts could be at Church, and come up for the altar call; or to attend a group setting to be around a family of believers ready to shower them with love.  I know, the sooner the better for ones life, therefore, join in on a zoom group that you are familiar with to not be alone in this.  It’s just great to feel the love from others as you begin your new walk in the light.

Now in order to might have life more abundantly, one will need to be healed from being bound by abuses and hurts still being carried, as well as to be loosed from being bound by yokes and limitations blocking your path to the freedom of abundant life.  Let’s take Lazarus, when Jesus gave him life, Lazarus still came forth wrapped in all the things that he went in with.  Jesus then commanded that the things that had Lazarus bound be removed.  Jesus had already given Lazarus life when he called him forth, and now Jesus directed that Lazarus be freed from what had him bound that he might have life more abundantly.   You and I must do the same if we are to might have life more abundantly.   We need to recognize the healing that we may need in our emotions, mind, will, and body.  Obviously, Jesus took care of all that which had bound Lazarus, doing the process of bringing him back to life, as he directed the removal of all that which once had him bound to death.  You read how Jesus came out the tomb after his resurrection didn’t you? Jesus left all that grave, and burial stuff behind as he was now only bound to return to the Father.  And speaking of the Father, since he now has Jesus sitting at the right hand of Glory, we will be looking for his direction to us for losing any remaining things desiring to keep us bound.   So here is our opportunity to might have life more abundantly, now let’s go get it, and lead on Father, lead on.

The Father Still Does Love To Do The Body Good.

About Adopted son

I graduated from college some moons ago. I worked in the business world most of my life. I founded, established and operated in the evenings a Christian based leadership and special tactics consulting group. I also served for years as a leader in the Church which allowed me to see how people of like faith can receive different results depending on what the individual person believes. However, my current and ongoing mission is to highlight the greatness of my "Heavenly Father's" mighty power that He has given to His sons and daughters to use here on earth. I should be one to share on this power since I have learned of it through the experience of my many mistakes, trials and tribulations. Whether by default, learned behavior or by acquired faith, I was allowed to know of this power first hand so that I could speak of it! Adopted son and Number 1 Fan of Father
