Once Jesus finished the work that the Father had sent him to do here on earth, he was ready to get back to the way his life was when it was just he and dad. Read here what Jesus said about it in scripture: John 17:4-5, “I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. 5) And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.” I can relate to Jesus on my level when it comes to working with man through out the Godhead process: the number of retakes with a double while working as a double myself can drive one crazy. I can only imagine how it was for Jesus to work with man to finish his entire script as the only non-double involved. You can only imagine how Jesus pulled it off: he had to give on the job training to his cast while simultaneously making the finished product. There is no, “I only work with ‘professionals,’ quote-unquote,” involved here. No, when it comes to processing the things that you hoped for through the Godhead process, you must be willing to work with whatever degree of “fessionals” that the Father gives you. The Father let’s us use whatever can work for him because he wants to be all the professional we need.
Now here’s the thing, Jesus wasn’t the only one going down memory lane at this moment. Jesus may have longed for what he once shared with dad before the world was, but dad was happy to experience now what he hadn’t experienced since the world begin. In the beginning when the word was God, and the word was with God, everything that God willed forth into the earth as God’s word, was made just as God had wilt. Now centuries later after the word was made flesh, this Son of God version of flesh, took every word that God sent him forth into the earth to fulfill, and fulfilled God’s will. The Father was well pleased with this version of flesh, and for the first time since the beginning, the Father could count on exactly what he had said to be made done, to be made done. Now Adam couldn’t do it, Abraham had re-takes done over and over, Moses didn’t obey the time it really mattered, King David had blood on his hands, Paul initially bowled down Christians with many strikes, and on and on the break down of the versions of man only yield to the break forth word version made Jesus. So, I can also understand the joy that the Father experienced during Jesus’ time here on earth making the Father’s will come to pass without a retake. And now, the Father is about to be left again to rely on more versions of the flesh to finish his work on the earth as Jesus comes to sit at the right hand of Glory. So yes, I believe that we all can understand why the Father might not have been as happy as Jesus was for him to get up out of here. So, ask yourself, what version of the flesh will you make available to the Father to help him finish his work? And more importantly, Jesus did finish his full script as his Father counted on him to do; and since we are now doubling as Jesus to finish our full script as the Father wills us to do, you gotta ask yourself, can the Father count on my current version to get it done?
