Sign me up! There are times that are not as favorable for anyone, and there are chances that you were not trying to take, that will take you. We all must live our life to the best of our ability, but our ability’s best will not protect us from some things because of time. And then there are things regardless of the time that will just come upon us by chance, regardless of our resources. Let’s read Ecclesiastes 9:11, “I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.” In other words, you can’t have enough or get enough from your own resources to get you through: the only Insurance policy you can have against time and chance will come from the Father. Again, sign me up!

You know, most Christians will say to me, that they would just stand on the word when time and chance happeneth to them. This helped me to better understand why so many Christians that opt to stand on the word when time and chance happeneth to them, were left standing on the word. The word is not an insurance policy against a surprise attack headed by time and chance. When time and chance happens, it is immediate; therefore leaving no time for the word to be made flesh or into natural substance for immediate use against the surprise arrival of time and chance. The word, similar to a seed must process through its growth stages, and time and chance will not give it time to do that NOW. And NOW faith is the substance of things hoped for; so you will have to be skilled, and call on a member of the Godhead who can supply your need against the surprise attack of time and chance NOW. When I see members of the Body standing on the word for a NOW need, I say something to them, and then I scratch my head. The word doesn’t supply you NOW, as it can after a little processing, which is the nature, and meaning of standing on the word.

No, right NOW, there are only two members of the Godhead that can supply the Body’s faith, right NOW: The Holy Ghost, and the Father can get that done. And don’t forget your skill training on the modular structure of the spiritual Godhead: the fulness of the one God was set up as the Godhead in order for us to move in and out of God where we need to be in bodily form. So when I need a supply NOW, I need the part of God that can move NOW. Do you remember all of the Let it be’s from the beginning? How when God, the Word, said let it be; and God, the Spirit, moved on what was said to let be, and be it was: I know you remember all of those let it be’s. So the Word didn’t move on itself then, and the Word will not move on itself NOW. Speaking of which, how do we know whether to move into the Holy Ghost, or step into the Father for a NOW move to deploy against the surprise arrival of time and chance? That is an easy one to answer. Since the Holy Ghost usually will move in support of the word, we will not deploy him against a NOW time and chance. For example, a person generally comes up for healing because of belief in a word such as “with his stripes we are Healed” for one. This is usually a standing word believed by a person who has processed it in faith, and arrived at this place for what’s next in God. So what is next in God after one believes the word for healing: the faith to see a Doctor, come up for the Holy Ghost to heal the one in need by his presence, or through a gifted member of the Body with the gift of healings just to name a few. When you run into a surprise attack by time and chance, there is no standing word processed already for the Holy Ghost to move on NOW; and the Holy Ghost can not shed off of the word as is his nature if there is no word to shed off of.

So here we are NOW, left with the one and only, time and chance insurance policy, the Father. The Father can address the surprise arrival of time and chance because He has the answer in his own power, of the things that we are unaware of such as time, and chance. When the Word, written or spoken, is sent forth, we expect substance to branch out from the Word, but this is the intended Will of God. And the Holy Ghost is in line to work with the Word substance to handle the need. However, everything that is in the vastness of God is not spoken or written, and sent forth to us, but the Father knows of these things. And when unspoken things of time and chance happens to us, we know who knows: Father knows. The Word would only know it, if it was sent forth to reveal it. There is so much more in the Father that has not been sent forth as the Word that leaves only Him to know it. In the scripture, Jesus speaks of how the Father is the greater: John 14:28 : “for my Father is greater than I.” So when a surprise attack of time and chance happens to us, look to step into the Father, He will help us. He is our time and chance insurance policy.
