Fathertime: Asking Big, And Not Turning Scaredy.

Does the Father have another Elisha in the Body House? Are there any more members of the Body of Christ willing to “ask Big, and not turn scaredy?” You know, even if you ask more of God than He has wilt at the moment, it does not mean that he isn’t willing to see what you got as long as you be willing to give it. So Elijah is ready to pass the mantel on over to Elisha, and fly the friendly skies of the fire chariot on up out of here. However, he was delayed from leaving on God’s time because Elisha asked for an update of the mantel from current G, up to Double G. 2.0. Now check out how smooth Elisha was as he asked Elijah to just handle the update for him; and boy are we so blessed also to have the Spirit of the Son into our hearts, crying, more, 2.0: remember how they wanted to take Jesus for making himself equal to his Father by saying that God was his Father. Yeah, I can see how one can ask Big, and default to scaredy. Anyway, back to checking out the smooth asking Elisha: 2 Kings 2:9-10, “And it came to pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me. (10) And he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: nevertheless, if thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so.”

Wow! God did not have Elijah come back with one of the most highly used quotes of all time, and rightfully so for proper framework: but first as it is always prep by starting out with that is not how God does it, and to give you more anointing than I of many years was given, “it is just not God’s will.” No, the humble servant of God, and now off the clock without overtime, being there is no higher pay for Elijah to receive than a first class ride to Glory; and he simply said, that if you can bear what comes next, and see me when I am taken, you would have received what you need to have the capacity for the double portion. Things come and happen that require more anointing than before in order to bring them to pass. If you will stay put when you ask “BIG,” God will bring down the anointing to bring it to pass; and if you don’t get scared and run hide from facing it, you will witness what it takes as well as becoming a partaker from being anointed in the midst to work it out. Many years ago I had faced and eviction as part of my asking Big. I didn’t know at that young age how spiritual things worked yet, but I was like the dog who didn’t know that climbing a tree with ease was a cat thing. And I am glad today that I am still like that dog, in that I have no idea that climbing a tree with ease is still a cat thing. And when it comes to asking God for “Big,” I am glad to not just be able to say, but to be able to know that God puts the cats to shame when it comes to climbing “Big.” You know how the bible tells us that with all your getting, get understanding? Many people think that the getting comes before the doing, and that will get you no where. You will get it as you do it, and like a coach, you will make adjustments in the second half to win the game.

Speaking of getting, the eviction that I mentioned, well years later I was in a meeting with a couple pastors from well known places. Anyway, we got to talking about evictions some how, understanding is coming, and understanding I was getting. I understood why many members of the body of Christ ask big, but turn scaredy. There are or were a lot of leaders that do not set the example when the rubber really meets the road. I told them how I had faced the eviction, and they both told me how they had turned scaredy. Of course they didn’t say it quite that way: they said that it wouldn’t look good to the congregation for that to happen to the pastor. So I understood that they didn’t expect the “Big” that they asked for to happen. They hoped for victory the first couple of days, then they left. We can’t just quote scripture, we have to live what we quote. Elijah told Elisha that if you see me when I am taken up, then you will have the double portion. Now since both pastors left before the end, they didn’t see how the anointing that was needed was coming, so they didn’t give God the chance to abort the eviction. It gave me more understanding much later as to why God doesn’t come through as much as he would will to. It is because he knows that many of his children would not wait for him to the end to take care of the “Big” that they asked for. And since he is the best Father ever, he wills to us what he knows we will wait for: it is better for a Father to know that he did provide all that he could. The portion that you need for your “Big” is there, but you got to be there at the end to partake in it when it drops.

And by the way, I did stay put for my eviction to the end as Victory was mine. After that I wanted more “Big,” and I got the understanding that not only could I ask “Big,” but that I could have what I asked for if I am there to the end to partake in the process. As I post so often, Jesus was given the fulness of God in bodily form, but you and I have to move in and out of the Godhead at the point of contact in bodily form.

Father Still Does Love To Do The Body Good!

About Adopted son

I went right to college after high school, and earned my B.S. in Business and Commerce with a major in Marketing Research. While I have worked in the Business world most of my life, I was also spending much time growing, maturing, and developing in the Godhead within the Body of Christ. I founded, established and operated in the evenings a Christian based leadership, and Godhead fulfillment consulting group. I also served for years as a leader on the Church board, and ministry staff. My time in ministry with the Full Gospel Business Men, as well as my other engagements, allowed me to see how people of like faith can receive different results in the word depending on the faith activity in which the individual person believes. There are many options of faith substance made available to us in a faith operation, and we need to move into the faith substance in which we believe in accordance with the word of God in which we are standing. My current and long time ongoing mission is to highlight the greatness of my "Heavenly Father," and the mighty power that He has given to His sons and daughters to use here on earth as they move to fulfill the Godhead. We the members of the Body of Christ leave much of our hundred fold on the table simply because we don't fulfill the Godhead unto the Father. Once we take the Word to full faith, it is not over. So let's go for the greater fold, and fulfill the Godhead. And to be a Global Resource Director, I can afford to leave no fold on the table. Adopted son,
