When the Father sends forth his word to bring us into his will, he already knows that we will need help from God (the word, the power, and the will) to will that which He wills. I may want to will that He wills, I may have placed my self on call 24/7 just waiting for the time of his next move to spring forth, and/or I may have even camped out at the Church all night to await the roll out of the next big word product to soon be released by my favorite word speaker; but all of this and more may go forth ahead of God, but it is all dead without the lead of God. When we appear as mere man and woman, not even the Father almighty will be expecting any man type to pull off his will without God leading the way. The Father knows this to be the case: he had already tried every which way but loose to make it happen before having to just send his only begotten son to handle this business. Now we can get there by following Jesus’ lead: we must do nothing of our own self.
The thing that gets us is those first few steps. The resistance, when we start out to do his will, is at its weakest point, and therefore it is so easy to just move on out. And just because a door is wide open, does not mean that it is wide open for us. Always bear in mind that the first steps of baby walking is always the most challenging steps of the walk. We should always begin a new operation or will of the Father as our first baby steps. The first steps are not the ones where you should get lost on so early in the operation. A baby taking baby steps does not run into the danger all around because the danger is there. The baby runs into the danger all around because it was allowed to roam on its on. The baby needs to have that helping hand to guide it, and to brace it along the way. We are the Father’s children, we need to become skilled at realizing that we need His helping hand along the way. This level of skillful thinking keeps us from losing his will that we want to will. Once we get off course early in the operation, the open doors that we came through are no longer the doors to get back: they change their substance once we come through, and thereby change our faith substance by coming through the wrong door. The place we find ourselves once we get off track, will carry a different faith substance that takes us into a different will that may take years to work out. So when you start out on a new operation to will that the Father wills, make sure you become a baby stepper, and hold on to his hand until he lets go of it. Do not run off through an easy door, and waste precious time off your life working out of it.
