No, what is really on your mind? Is there something concerning God, even the Father, that you have it in your mind and in your heart to do, but it seems like you are the only one on the planet believing you should go for it. This is a tough place to be in because their is no help available yet for you to pull from for the support you will need to do it. When you have something on you that no one else around you can support yet, you will only have it if you can be there at the end of the extra activity, and then pick up all that you need to run with this new plan. Many years ago, I had it in my mind, and even more in my heart that I was going to build a ministry of ministers in order to develop the five-fold ministry. No one “around me” at that time had heard of having church with only the ministers and their families. Plus, I had been raised in the Baptist Church, and at that time there wasn’t much organizational building or teaching done about the five fold ministry where I come from. So now I had been introduced to this new fascinating world to me of ministry that involved more than just the Pastors and assistant Pastors, and they all had a different title, but their functions in the Body were still not clearly defined to me at that time. And with me coming from my Baptist background with a touch of Methodist because of our once a month taking turns fellowshipping at one another’s Church, you know that I gotsta to know more. You just couldn’t leave me hanging to watch titles; especially when we were trained coming up to know things fully if we can.

So I’m in this new church and new denomination, and after about a year passes by I can clearly remember saying to God in prayer, Father, these people really do love you, but they do not know what they are doing with this faith thing. I continued talking to him saying that they also have people with the titles of the five-fold ministry, but the Pastor still basically does everything. I said Father, I believe all of what they have said, but you have to teach me how this thing works. I wanted to know, but like Elisha with Elijah, I wanted to know more: I wasn’t asking for a double portion of what they had, but I was asking for the portion that they seem to be missing. They were not authorized to authorize me for more or for what they may be missing, because they could only authorize me for no more than they knew. When you have more on your mind than the people assisting you even know, “Only The Father Can Authorize You For That.” When people are assisting you the best that they can, once you get to a certain place, they will move you up into the places that they know if they can. However, if you need to go further than they know to go, you have to hang in the state you’re in, until Father gets you to a place on down the road that can authorize you for more. You know the Bible, Elijah had reached the spot where he could pass the anointing on over to Elisha to carry on, and then he could get up on out of here. However, there was an unexpected surprise: we may find out at times like Elijah did that we are indeed all of that to those that labour amongst us, but we may also find out that at times with them we do not come with the “And a bag of chips” tag. Once Elijah had reached his ending spot, he now had to continue on a little Farther along the trail so that the other portion requested by Elisha, could be given the authorization activity necessary to be authorized by God. Elijah, like so many around us today, could only authorize that in which he knew, and only the Father could authorize what he didn’t know. Fortunately for Elisha, Elijah knew to continue on pass the spot where he knew to end, and to also let Elisha know the deal: listen he says to Elisha as I paraphrase, I’m going to keep on for a spell to give you this shot at a double portion as you requested, just know that this is above my authorization level. However, the one that can authorize it, says that he will authorize it if you are there at the end, and see me as I am taken up. And as we all know, Elisha was authorized to receive the double portion.

Now I did end up receiving authorization also to establish the five-fold ministry model in the way I had it in my mind and heart. We trained, and developed leaders, ministries, and ministers in the five fold ministry for over a decade. The Lord had to first take me farther pass the stop of the first group of people that gave me all they knew to give. I had a dream one night of this man’s face, and he showed up later at this same Church to do a revival. When I saw his face, I knew that he was the one that Father had sent me to take me farther down that path to give me a shot at getting the authorization. The same week that I start attending his church, he started teachings on the office of the Prophet. It ended up being that if I would be there at the end, when he finished up, that I would be able to get my authorization from the Father. Over two years had passed when he finished up, and I did receive my authorization to get started. You have to be around people that can receive from God that which you need. If the people around you do not have in them what God has put in you, you have to hang until God moves you farther along to the spot that does have what you need; and God always does things decently and in order. I didn’t know what was next for me after all of that training, but the Father did. My Pastor had a revival at the church shortly after the classes had finished, and the Prophet doing the revival called me up for a word. In front of my Pastor, he said that God says that it is time for you to leave here, and to take your next step. I didn’t know all of what that meant at that time, but I was so happy that God had the friend Prophet of my Pastor, who my Pastor had invited to do the revival, to give me that word to leave in front of him. I remember going up to my Pastor and asking him, did you hear what the Prophet said? So I left, and the rest became good history.

Here’s another gem you must remember, people can’t support what they don’t hear. Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. If you are around church people, friends, family, co-workers, or whomever; it doesn’t matter if they have not heard some where in their life information on the thing that you are talking about. How can they agree, and believe with you if they have not ever heard about the thing that you are talking about? I like how Paul explained his charge on Timothy: 1 Timothy 1:18, “This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare.” We are held to that which we hear, and others are held to what they hear about us. God tries to make sure that others hear what he has for us to do so that the support is there. If like Timothy, we are charged by that which went forth from a mouth other than ours, and heard by ears other than ours, than we will easily find support, and agreement in that which we do. And then there are the Elishas of the world, those few that came out of the box with that which was not expected or heard by many others, if any others: to you few, be there in the end, “Only The Father Can Authorize You For That.”
