No one ever talks about the things that God went through before giving the world his only begotten son. This was not an act in which he did on his own behalf: no, this act was done on behalf of the world, in which he loved so much. It was the world that needed saving, not the one who created it. So yeah, he became a Father in having his only begotten Son, but don’t forget that God is a Spirit: and according to Jesus, when he was still spirit before being made flesh, he and the Father had the best of times. Listen to what Jesus said after his work here on earth was finished, “Miller Time”: No, Jesus didn’t say Miller Time, but it sure was funny to me for a minute. You know, King David, I call him God’s loving man because he had a way of encouraging himself in the Lord his God no matter what. And he would rather receive his due from God on any matter, than from man at any time. Miller Time was a way that came at that moment, and I used it to encourage a funny for myself in the Lord my God in front of you. I believe if Moses could have gotten better at speaking to the rock in distressful times, he may not, would have needed to speak to the people at the wrong time and miss the promised land, just thinking out loud as I do from time to time. Now way back to what did Jesus really say after he had finished his work here on earth concerning the time spent with the Father before being made flesh, and given to the world? John 17:4-5, “I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. 5) And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.” WOW: yeah I love y’all, but get me up out of here Father.
You know, it takes two to dance, so if Jesus thought the time before all the Let it Bes came was all that, I can understand why God had to process the “Word” to its fullness just to be able to give it to flesh to give him to us. This is how I believe that “Father Stayed In The Show Man State Of Love;” and yeah for those of you with the thought, I thought about Missouri the “Show Me State” as I was writing this where talk is cheap: show me. Well God was showing man from the time he put Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden all the way up to and through the law how much he loved man. He showed man, and he showed man how much he loved him until it became the state of his love: to show man how much he loved him. You already know the love he gave, but briefly and not necessarily in order, just to get you rolling in it a little: God gave man heaven on earth in the garden, Noah’s ark, the Patriarchs with the Father of faith, Judges, Prophets, then man begged for a king, saved from famines, freed from slavery, given the law and the turtle-doves, and so much before the law that I can’t even write, but I made my point. We can’t even imagine dealing with all of this all of the time as only a God could. I can see why Jesus wanted to go back to the Glory that he had enjoyed with the Father before the world was.
