Fathertime: The Body Needs More Finishers.

Boy, how rewarding it is to hear these words, I finished my course. Matter of fact, Paul was one that said it: 2 Timothy 4:7, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” And Jesus of course said it at least a couple of times: once in John 17:4, “I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.” And another time in John 19:30,”When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.” The one thing that made it possible for the greats to finish their course from the beginning to the end is that they finished segments of the complete course along the way. There are points in between A and Z that need finishing before the full course can be finished. We the Body of Christ need more members to be finishers of segments along the way in order to finish the full course all the way. The more members that finish segments along the way, the more members there will be keeping the faith to finish their course all of the way.

Father is the one ready to make sure we finish more of what we start. The Father is looking for more finishers in the body of Christ now. So if you are ready to finish more of your segment starts now, come to Father just now. Father is the Godhead that has kept your ability to finish in his own power. There are somethings in the times and seasons of your course segments that can only be finished with the help of the Father: Acts 1:7, “And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.” It is not only the return of Jesus that is kept in the power or the Father, but many things that the Father has in store for us are kept in the power of the Father: 1 Corinthians 2:9, “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” Many think that coming to the Father is the same thing as coming to the Lord Jesus, but there is the difference: Jesus isn’t here, and the Father is here. Yeah, but Jesus was in their/our hearts when he was replaced by another comforter, the Holy Ghost: it was the Holy Ghost in spiritual form sent here by the Father to help teach them/us. The Father, a spirit, was here for Jesus to finish, the Father was here for Paul to finish, and the Father is now here for us to finish. We just have to know him to trust him when he comes to us to finish.

Now put Jesus in your shoes. Jesus just moved in sync with the Father when his hour came for him to move into the time and season for him to die. Jesus did not join in with Peter in rebuking the devil in the soldier as Peter cut off the ear, Jesus did not call for the Church to start a praise and worship service for blessings to come down immediately, and Jesus did not call for a fast to humble our flesh in hope for the power of God to intervene. What Jesus did was to run to the time and season of his death once he realized that his hour had come. Then the Father took over and ran the show to the finish as Jesus powered down for his hour had come. We in our own shoes do everything in our power to extend our current segment when the Father come a knocking on our segment door at our hour: we do not power down or decrease so that Father can increase our segment finish. We are trained to resist the hour because to finish a segment of our course requires a price, and for some reason we stand like Peter ready to fight to extend when we should run to Father to finish. Father is the one that shows up with your finish, but will you come forth for the finish: the finish always has a price. And all Father is asking of us today is to finish the hour of the segments: Father is not yet calling on us to finish the hour of the whole course. That day and hour, time and season, will take care of itself.

About Adopted son

I went right to college after high school, and earned my B.S. in Business and Commerce with a major in Marketing Research. While I have worked in the Business world most of my life, I was also spending much time growing, maturing, and developing in the Godhead within the Body of Christ. I founded, established and operated in the evenings a Christian based leadership, and Godhead fulfillment consulting group. I also served for years as a leader on the Church board, and ministry staff. My time in ministry with the Full Gospel Business Men, as well as my other engagements, allowed me to see how people of like faith can receive different results in the word depending on the faith activity in which the individual person believes. There are many options of faith substance made available to us in a faith operation, and we need to move into the faith substance in which we believe in accordance with the word of God in which we are standing. My current and long time ongoing mission is to highlight the greatness of my "Heavenly Father," and the mighty power that He has given to His sons and daughters to use here on earth as they move to fulfill the Godhead. We the members of the Body of Christ leave much of our hundred fold on the table simply because we don't fulfill the Godhead unto the Father. Once we take the Word to full faith, it is not over. So let's go for the greater fold, and fulfill the Godhead. And to be a Global Resource Director, I can afford to leave no fold on the table. Adopted son,
