Jesus backed up his words by doing such wonderful things with His Father while here on earth for the whole world to see. When He left us to go be with his Father, he left no doubt to us or the rest of the world that he was here about his Father’s business: he proved that his Father had indeed sent him to do his will. Yeah, you know what’s coming next. Well, No, I was just wondering what shape the world would be in if we all left no doubt as to whose business we were here about. You know, it’s hard to tell the difference these days with all the business or will of everyone, and everything all being handled out of the same basket. I don’t know any more, just from looking, who’s representing what with everything all getting the same treatment. Let’s take dressing up or dressing down for one example, today for the most part, it really all dresses the same: on the job business casual works fine for any business of Church, which works for the business of parent’s night out, which also works for the business of high school and college graduations, which we can leave, and work our way straight to the business of opening kick off with pop corn and soda in hand. If we had to decide who or what business we were handling at the time based on the cover of the book, there would be plenty of doubt as to the business someone was being about at that moment.
Are we treating our faith in similar fashion as we are now treating how we dress to attend our various events? We may have now come to the point where we can dress the same way or any way to do any number of things, but can we do any number of things while leaving no doubt as to the God that dresses us? I don’t believe any true God wants or expects to be grouped in the same basket with all the other God’s as to say selecting one of us to believe in is a matter of fashion or upbringing. No, I believe that a true God wants to be seen, and known as the one true God in a basket all to himself. The problem that we have with this is that out of the many faiths to follow with all of their many Gods to follow, I see no common folk really leaving no doubt as to the power of the God that they are following. Whose will is being done by you, and are you leaving no doubt as to whose business you are about. I know in the circles that I run in, people from all of the different faiths are scoring points. It all seem like the dress code now, they could of all been wearing the same faith in all of their endeavors, and come away with the same outcome. My hygienist, who practices Buddhism, is one of the most skilled, and kindest person I know. I only know her faith because we talk. She could have been a Christian for all I know: all faiths, like our dress code, can get you through just about any event in America. If having different faiths can produce the same good happy results for all, what is the edge, or beneficial difference in following one Faith over another? It’s almost like believing in long distance telephone companies, you can hear me now will all of them for the most part, but you have to really get to know your chosen carrier’s true features and benefits to determine if it’s the one that will bring you into long distance heaven or hell.
Here what I will continue to do. I will continue to be a Christian, and love the Lord Jesus with all my heart. I will continue to step up my Christian game, and bring it to play off level form by proving as Jesus did that the Father is my present help with real-time results. I may have won many games in the regular season with this current offense and defense, but to play in the spiritual play offs against the best that my opposition will counter with, my current level will not do. And don’t get it twisted, my opposition is not all the other faiths that are trying to live right, and follow their beliefs to the best of their ability. If the other faith’s were my enemy, do you think that I would still have great teeth having a hygienist that’s devoted to Buddhism? Lol. I have had, and still have most of my primary care people range from atheist, Christianity, Muslim, Buddhism, and some others that I was unaware of that handled my personal business at the time: yep, still breathing, and doing better since I met those people. I will ask you who or what is the opposition for us all with this question. Who do you turn to when you don’t think that you have anyone else to turn to anymore: now that’s your opposition? To all of us of Faith, can we turn to the God of our faith, and get results? Now that is the million dollar opposition answer that I see all of the Faiths running into, of every community. Earlier I mentioned that I don’t see the results amongst the common people. There is another faith, the world’s Faith, that produces great results for those who operate well in its system. This has nothing to do with your spiritual faith, but everything to do with how prepared you are when you enter into the faith of the world. Oh, everyone will be a member of this faith one way or another: it’s not a choice, it’s life. And if you are not above average in some shape, form or fashion, you will need to call on that one who you say can supply all of your needs. When you meet the faith of the world, and have to answer that question, welcome to your true opposition. Who you gonna call on – that answers in real-time?
I’ll talk to you later. I’m off to prove the “Father,” the wonderful father of Jesus!
Stay Tune,
Adopted Son
