So I’m sitting here talking to Father about our place as Christians in society among the haves and the have nots. I say to him, Father what should someone do that want to change the way life is treating them? What should they do to experience the best plan from you for their life? Let’s just say that they are disenchanted with their life, but have faith that through you it can be all that they’ve hoped it to be: what should they do first? They scrape by from week to week, and these are the ones that appear to blessed, but missing one pay check would reveal the real truth about their financial health. There are many more of your people who show up to Church with joy on Sunday, but Monday through Saturday is another story to tell. They have been hearing the good news for years while most of their news continue to be that which you would rather not hear. They see some of their fellow Christians doing good, or at the most, a lot better than they are doing, but even the ones doing better still show nothing of great substance to really write home to mom about. So what’s up Father? What’s the deal? Are we like the government at times:operating on bad info from the CIA? Are we at times operating on bad info from the POS(Preachers On Sunday)? No, The POS are bringing good word.

As I remain engaged with Father for him to respond, you know how he is, he’ll respond when he responds. So I start thinking about Moses going before Pharaoh to perform the miracles in an attempt to get Pharaoh to let the people go. I remember how Pharaoh’s people did everything that Moses and Aaron did initially: serpents, water to blood, frogs, but not the lice. It wasn’t until the lice came that Moses began to separate what God did from what Pharaoh people could do. Then I thought about Adam and Eve being put out of the Garden for their disobedience to God. In Genesis 3:22 & 23, And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: verse 23, Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. Now I was beginning to see some of the answers to some of my questions stated above to Father. Wow, we are so locked into this world’s system that it controls everything that we do. It’s a catch 22 situation in that we are not of this world, but we are trapped here to live in this world until Jesus returns. We have to till the ground here in the same manner that people who do not believe in God have to till the ground. The rain will fall on them just as it falls on us whether they believe in God or not. If the people who don’t believe in God are tilling their ground better than the child of God, their crops that they harvest will be bigger and more as is the case in the earth today. We don’t do the same things to the same degree as the rest of the world does to have an abundance in the earth’s system. We Christians and other spiritual people spend a lot of time, as we should, looking to God for direction in prayer, worship, seminars, etc., and etc. The people who depend on the world’s system spend their time getting higher education more so than we, climbing the corporate ladder at all cost more so than we, or focusing on other ways to make money of themselves than of dependence on a God more so than we. So, at the end of the day, the people of the world should have more of the things of the world more so than we.

When I was thinking about Moses coming to Pharaoh talking about what his God said for Pharaoh to do. I thought about the Church coming to the people who depend on the world’s system to talk about our God. You remember how Pharaoh and his people just laugh at Moses and his tricks? They laugh because up until Moses did the lice, they could do it also. We have it even worst than Moses in that Pharaoh at least had to copy Moses. The world does not have to copy us because we seldom offer it anything that it doesn’t already have us doing along with it. When we brag about a new house. It only turns the heads of us that are so grateful to have a house. The world in its power does not pay attention to that because the world system has awarded many people with three and four houses along with a yacht and plane. So it is hard for us to turn the heads of those so dependent on the world system because it really does take good care of their needs. And we have not showed them that much to make them want to put all the effort, and time that we put in it to get out of it what we have to show for it. Some even think that I will live for a while, and then take care of my soul later. They don’t worry about death knocking on their door before they find the time to get right with God. I do believe that with the way Christians of all walks of life have acted over the pass twenty to thirty years have not done anything to encourage them in any way. A lot of us act as though we are as lost as the world with no hope in sight.

Well, not only is there hope in sight, but we Christians are the hope. We just got to step up to the new plate, and add life to our diet of knowing good and evil. Once Moses added some life to the diet that Pharaoh and his people thought they knew of good and evil, it was all over but the dying. When Adam and Eve only did what God told them, no matter what they did, it was all well because it was all life. Once they sinned, God said they got to go, or else we will be left with them being as one of us for ever if they can somehow find their way, and eat of the tree of life. In order to rise up in this world’s system without becoming like the people who will do the more, to get the more, we have to eat more from our tree of life. Once we can do the lice, and they can’t, we break the control of the world’s system over us. We can’t get away from it, but we can get a way to not have to depend on it. This is the real problem if the truth be known, we Christians do love our God, but we by habit do depend on the world’s system more than we chose to admit. Listen, I worked in corporate America for years, and I loved it. I’m not pointing fingers, I’m just pointing at the truth. I came out of high school with several scholarships like some of you, and was on my way to the world’s system without intent. My mother, who loves God as much or more than anyone, on any given day was so convinced that I had been blessed of God. I was blessed, but I had made the grades just like the other boy on the other side of faith had done: he had scholarships also. We both got rained upon, but the difference between us was that he would continue to look to the world, and I would continue to mix them up. I didn’t know it at that early age out of high school, but by default, I had been gifted to do the lice thing, or eat from the tree of life. I went on to be a darling of corporate America, it wanted me promoted no matter where I went. I was loving God, and I was eating from the tree of life: I would always do the different stuff. When I was top sales gun in my region for Xerox back in the day, I didn’t just run leads, I created a system to acquire my own leads. My leads (lice) along with their leads (knowledge of good and evil), made me the top sales person. I was blessed of God, but I was also out performing the system, and it made me stand out. My point is this, we have to mix it up to get us up. You have to do the best that you can do naturally while you are sincerely in prayer believing God for all things. Father is here for this very reason: he wants to give you plans that the system doesn’t have or see. I call it Father time because after you have exhausted the word, and walked in the power of the Holy Ghost as far as it is authorized to take you, then what? Once the world is at its wits end, Father will open a way if you are still standing there at the end of the World’s wits end to receive it. It’s like Elijah told Elisha, you have asked a difficult thing, but if you see me when I go up, you will have it. Christians are being there at the end, but not because of God. We are usually left out at the end because we were really following the world’s system by default. We all get caught up in it, and at times give God credit for something that the system would have done anyway.
