Fathertime: What To Know To Improve My Day.

As I sit at my lab top preparing my post for today, I ask my self this question: what would I want to know to improve my day? Then I thought about Peter the professional fisherman, and I instantly agreed that his day was improved by knowing where to cast his nets to catch the fish. I know that I would like information that would lead me to having a record-breaking day in my profession as well: yes that would improve my day. I can hear the joy from Joseph as his gift made room for him to move out of prison, and into instant royalty: there’s no doubt in my mind that not only was his day improved, but the rest of his life was also improved. There was also this young boy who attended to sheep, that through given proper attention to delivering lunch to his more esteemed brothers, he ended up delivering the prime champion of his people enemies into the hand of his King: boy, I know that his whole daily world improved. Little did he know that his God like faith along with his boy like attitude would some day see him as King over the very people he just saved. Then it hit me, I already know what I need to know to improve my day.

The first step in having any chance at improving my day requires that I do like Peter. I have to take time out of my day to know Jesus. He is no respecter of persons. He will tell me also exactly what I need to know to improve my day. The question is, will I listen to him and follow his directions. Thank God that the hot-tempered, quick to speak, know it all when it comes to fishing Peter, was in a listening mode at that time. The knowledge that we need to know to improve our day is provided to us, but we don’t always provide ourselves to the knowledge. Here’s the thing that keeps us from getting our boat load of fish, the messenger with the knowledge is not usually what we expect. God will use whatever means available to get us what we need. This is when the fruit of the spirit provides the way to get us to the answer. If we humble our selves, and produce whatever fruit needed to deal with whatever means that God uses to get the knowledge to us, we will get the boat load that God has for us.

Secondly, like Joseph, if you are a hammer, you need to keep watch for movement coming your way that deals with hammering. Your gift can’t make room for you if you are not looking to use it: every member of a team must know the position that needs that member. What is it that you are better at than most people? I bet that there are many opportunities passing you by because you are waiting for the horn to sound to take off. You are the horn that needs to sound off. When you see the thing that you do come into your space, jump jump jump to it. When it was time to get Joseph out of prison, God didn’t call for a 100 meter dash, or a cooking contest. God sent someone who had experienced personally what Joseph could do to tell the King about him. Did you hear me? He sent someone to tell the King about this man who could give the King what he wanted. You do realize that to recommend to the king means to live or to die? There are people in your life right now with the means to get you to the top, but you haven’t shown your self enough times to them to give them the faith to go out on the limb for you. They want to bring you forth, God wants them to bring you forth, but you don’t ever bring you forth when it counts.

Lastly, you got to know that you know. We give more credence to the policies of the work place than we give to the commands of God. This is what makes the boy who attended sheep a much better representative of God to face Goliath than the trained men of war. David was young, and only knew what God had done for him in his time of need. When you tell a young boy that’s been left out in the field alone to face a lion, and a bear, that the whole army of Israel is afraid of a really big man; it doesn’t compute to a child’s mind. It doesn’t make sense to him: out of the mouth of babes thou hast perfected praise. David wants to know how can it be: for who is this uncircumcised Philistine that should defy the armies of the living God? This is David perfecting praise to the living God. You ought to hear how some of us perfect praise to the living God. It goes something like this: I guess God’s will be done; I’m just leaning on the almighty; God expects me to use the brain that He gave me; I know God can do it, but I got to do what I got to do: and on and on we go with our perfect praise. Sometimes I think that we whimper away the move of God. I know that I wouldn’t be too excited to move on our behalf either with all of those votes of confidence coming up at me. That’s what little David said to all those big bad men in all of their armor: don’t you know that you know who’s fighting the fight for you. Plus David, as a child, thought that they were wrapped mentally tight with understanding of the God they served as he was. We need to be wrapped mentally tight with understanding of the God fighting our fight for us. How can we lose if we really have God fighting for us: tip for you. God fights for you with the God gifts that he gave to you. Those gifts are from God, so they are parts of God. Joseph was fighting with God leading the way in the form of interpreting dreams on all levels. Peter was fighting with God leading the way in the form of a word of knowledge about the fish. And David was fighting with God leading the way in the form of a proven staff, and five smooth stones with tone on Goliath’s head. What proven gift are you to take to the fight with God leading the way to improve your day? Also, find out what other gifts that other members are all around you, and then make sure you take that gift to a that gift needed fight. Father time.

About Adopted son

I went right to college after high school, and earned my B.S. in Business and Commerce with a major in Marketing Research. While I have worked in the Business world most of my life, I was also spending much time growing, maturing, and developing in the Godhead within the Body of Christ. I founded, established and operated in the evenings a Christian based leadership, and Godhead fulfillment consulting group. I also served for years as a leader on the Church board, and ministry staff. My time in ministry with the Full Gospel Business Men, as well as my other engagements, allowed me to see how people of like faith can receive different results in the word depending on the faith activity in which the individual person believes. There are many options of faith substance made available to us in a faith operation, and we need to move into the faith substance in which we believe in accordance with the word of God in which we are standing. My current and long time ongoing mission is to highlight the greatness of my "Heavenly Father," and the mighty power that He has given to His sons and daughters to use here on earth as they move to fulfill the Godhead. We the members of the Body of Christ leave much of our hundred fold on the table simply because we don't fulfill the Godhead unto the Father. Once we take the Word to full faith, it is not over. So let's go for the greater fold, and fulfill the Godhead. And to be a Global Resource Director, I can afford to leave no fold on the table. Adopted son,
