Old School Spiritual training must be updated. Even Jesus didn’t address this big problem until He was already on the flight home to the Kingdom. He may have already been seated at the right hand of Glory when He looked down, and saw the situation at hand. I can imagine hearing Jesus send His voice down to the Apostles saying, I told you to wait in Jerusalem for the power to come upon you, I didn’t say for you to stay there for ever. Some how, and we do it today in our own circumstances, they got the “word” from Jesus to go to the nations, but they waited there as though the nations would come to them on foot sandals with wheels to pick them up, and drop them off at their door steps while they preached the word of God:lol. Let me say it in a way that is applicable to each of us as individual members of the Body of Christ. When we get a “word” from Jesus to accomplish something: a need, a desire of our heart or His will; God expects us that are endued with power from on high to go get busy. If He tells you to name the animals, start calling out names. He has already put in you that what you need to succeed: the names that you call out will all be good. What I’ve found out from my research, counseling, advising, and just running into conversations by chance is that we get the “word’ from Jesus directing us to do something, but we wait up about eighty percent of the working life time allotted to that situation before we get started on it. Then once when we awaken our faith to finally do something, the working life time left for that operation in the earthly realm has diminished down to about twenty percent: time has run out because we started too late. Now that we are up and running, but up and running too late, we feel like Samson standing between two pillars pushing hard to only generate stress, and frustration.
What are we waiting for when we have been given the “word” to go forth? That question is the part of old school spiritual training that needs updated. This was not the way Jesus trained the Apostles when He was here with them. Jesus would send them out on a mission for days, and tell them not to pack for your needs: your needs will be provided for as you need them to be. And by the way, if you get somewhere that will not provide for your needs, give them the “shake off the dust under your feet” technique, and move on to the next place. No, Jesus was always on the move being about His Father’s business. Once Jesus looked down, and saw that the Apostles were still tarrying around Jerusalem long after Pentecost, He put plan B into action. You don’t want God to have to put plan B into action on your behalf, then you have to give up some of you reward territory. Jesus look down and saw someone who was trained in the natural with experience in going places to deliver messages. This mission was so important that Jesus struck a man blind on an old road to Damascus where he was on his way to deliver evil messages. This man had a little talk with Jesus, and before long, Jesus had convinced the man who he was better off working for Him. Jesus also used the high-tech equipment of that time, called a light from Heaven, to show the man that His debt owed to his previous employer, was now paid in full. Jesus had one of His crew members take the man for a little eye sight retrieval, and kingdom training, and eventually sent him out on his way: and boy, did he ever go.
I just believe that we have been taught so long to wait on the Lord that we mess around, and wait too late. The training that Jesus left us was to walk in the fullness of God, through the God heads, and bring to pass the will of the Father in our lives. The model to follow is the “word” first, then apply the power of the Holy ghost to the “word” as you join in with the Holy Ghost in bodily form as the Holy Ghost moves. You see movement on a person, place or thing that is connected in someway with the “word” that you are walking out, go attached yourself to it until you check it out: don’t wait too late to at least check it out. It could be your link to your next move toward your answer. You have to be like a hitchhiker, if you see a person, place or thing going your way, and it slows up when you put the thumb up, then that’s your movement to get into. And remember, you only put the thumb up on a movement if you see something matching the “word” with this movement: see nothing connecting the “word,” then don’t get aboard. This movement on the word is your ride to your rendezvous at the meeting point with Father. Once the “word” is moved along the path way by the Holy Ghost with you there attached to its movements in bodily form, the entry into Father time is at hand. They all three work individually as God heads with us humans, in order to get us to the one place where they are united as the one God, and deliver us to the times and season of our need on time: WOW!
