We are now operating under new management with Father on the scene.  The development of the Body of Christ is like a relay team that hands off  the baton after each runner completes the specified distance in the lane.  Jesus came off the block first, and made sure that we had everything that we needed to even run in the race.  He qualified us to run by giving us salvation through his death on the cross.  The promises of God to those that love him are so vast that he left a hand picked team trained personally by him to spread his word like a wild fire.

Not only did Jesus  leave a team to continue what he started, but Jesus also left as he ascended upon high gifts to that team, and to all the teams that would follow so that we would develop with the correct understanding.  The young body of Christ was off, and running with much to do.  Jesus’ time on earth had come and gone, but he had laid the foundation that would stand until the ends of time.  Now, it was time to pass the baton on to the Holy ghost who would come, and teach us all things.

So we take the word that Jesus left recorded in the bible, and the word that he keeps on giving us through his gifts called the five-fold ministry, and we live our life.  The Holy Ghost at the same time is teaching us how to walk in this word as we live our lives.  We keep feeding, developing, and growing into the image of God.  We keep looking and waiting for it to really happen.  What is it?  It is the manifestation of things that we have put our faith toward because of our belief in the word giving to us by God, or through God’s gifts.

The truth be known, many members of the body of Christ have lived, and died without seeing the promises that they held near, and dear come to pass.  We all have received a few blessings here, and there, but the vast amount of the members of the body of Christ is still looking, hoping, and expecting to receive that which they have believed God for so long before time reels them in: keep on, keeping on just as you have.   Hey, another truth be known, most of the many members of the body of Christ that are living a bless life have done so mostly through higher education, specialized training, talent industry or some manner that anyone else on the planet can do.  We don’t really have a market on things that are done by God that can only be a benefit to a member of the body of Christ.  No, what we basically call blessings are just things well planned for people not so God committed.

Now the time has come for the baton to be passed from the Holy Ghost to you, to you know who?  Father has taken the baton to finish the race, and bring the body of Christ to full maturity.  We are now operating under new management: Father.  The body of Christ spent generations developing to this point with the word, and guidance of the Holy Ghost.  The members from earlier generations had to hope, and keep passing that hope forward because the day would come when they would wait no more.  That day is now.

Father wants us to know that his time brings closure to what we hope for.  Father holds the times, and seasons in his hand.  The things that the other generations hoped for, but died before receiving, are available for us now.  We are the tip of the ice berg, and they were the base of it. As we start walking in the greater power of Father, they will be walking with us in victory.

A relay team has four members: guess who hands the baton to Father?
