If you have read any of my previous blogs, you know that for me, it is all about Father.  If you have read any of the book of John, or really, any of Jesus words through out the gospels, you know that for him, it was all about his Father as well.  Now as for those of you that are ready, guess what, it needs to be all about the Father for you also.  If the members of the body of Christ are going to take their positions of power here on this earth, the body of Christ will need to have many more sons take their position of power with Father.

The complete development of the body of Christ depends on as many developed sons from within the body of Christ to take that step to the Greater position with the Father.  If more of us can step up into the greater place with the Father, it will open up new inventories for the body of Christ to employ.  The body of Christ has exhausted all of the inventory that is available on this level for effective change.  You hear on the news daily how the soldiers in the middle east are ready to fight, but they don’t have the correct weapons to fight the enemy effectively.  Now spiritually, we have plenty of soldiers in Christ that are willing to keep fighting the good fight for Jesus, but we need to throw some new greater things at the enemy that he hasn’t seen or made preparation.  The greater things that we need are right there with the Father.  We just have to step up, and work what Father is working.  Jesus says in John 14:28, for my Father is greater than I.  You can not over look that statement, especially when it comes from the only person qualified to say it.  If Jesus says his Father is greater than he, than we must know that there is a purpose behind the statement.

Ok, let’s step it up.  Jesus says this in John 5:17, “My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.”  Jesus is letting the people at that time know, and people of anytime know, that He and is Father are a team doing this work.  Jesus says in John 5:19, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the son likewise.”  Although it had pleased the Father to give Jesus the fullness of God, Jesus the Son worked with his Father to achieve the greater.  You will also, as a son, get to work with the Father to achieve the greater.  Do you like that prospect?!

It’s such a joy to think about working with Father in that matter.  Here’s a good example for you to see the picture of working with Father versus working within the safety confines of the body of Christ.   When Jesus was on earth, he always called on his Father to help carry out the work.  This is the Father to Son relationship that the body of Christ needs more of us to enter into.  On the flip side of the coin, you had the Apostles that Jesus sent out to do the work as Jesus commanded.  Jesus was still on earth, and he anointed them with the power needed to complete the work he sent them to do.  The Apostles with Jesus on earth are like us in the body of Christ on earth.  They could go, and successfully do what Jesus directed them to do because Jesus had anointed them for success.  We the children of God, in the body of Christ, can go do what Jesus tells us to do because he left the gifts of himself to man to have the power to successfully complete his commandments.  But I’m sure that the power that Jesus operated in with his father as a son on earth, offered much more everything than the anointing that was  given the Apostles when they went out and operated.  For one thing we know, any work with father is Greater!  Also when it was time for Jesus to leave the earth, he directed the original body of Christ not to go out and do his word until they received the promise: the Holy Ghost, and third member of the God Head.  I believe we can see the development plan being kicked into gear.

The power that we walk in as members of the body of Christ is to develop us to be a strong member united in the body.  We depend on one another to be all that we can be.   The fullness of the God Head for the body of Christ is not just given to one member, but divided to many to achieve one result. Father on the other hand is not divided amongst any members.  He does not rely on any one to do the work that he must have done.  All Father is looking for is the Son that is willing to see what he is doing, and follow suit.  The son that can work with God will be exposed to God’s direct power: no members needed.  This makes us stronger, and greater.  God has always loved us from creation, but in order for us to function, he sent Jesus to save us.  Jesus has us, and will keep us safe in the body of Christ, but there are some of us called to walk in the cool of the garden with father as Adam was made to do.  Who is ready for that walk?  Who is ready for Father-Time?

In my next blog, I will explain the fascinating operation of the body of Christ walking in the fullness of the God-Head: many members depending on each other to walk in each level of the God Head that’s in Jesus’ body.  And I will also explain the direct walk with Father, and what makes it much more fascinating and more greater!!!
